    10:30 Now this is what I'm talking about. Computing out the noise, I love it. I suppose it would somewhat fail if users are lined up in a row, you would need at least three arrays spaced apart that can communicate with each other to filter that.

      Yes, either three arrays that receive different linear combinations of the users' signals or one array that is large enough to separate the users. The angular separability increases with the length of the array.

    Thanks for the information.. I am interested to know your view on LENS antennas (multibeams Antennas) and how would you compare them with Massive MIMO antennas. Asking becuase from the added capacity stand point it seems Massive MIMO antennas are not a match for LENS, hence despite a niche use case, it would apperar that LENS is a better proposition than Massive MIMO when it comes to capacity. Are you able to elaborate in the topic please?

      Massive MIMO is a concept for using antenna arrays to improve the performance by beamforming and spatial multiplexing. A lens antenna is one way of implementing an antenna array, which might be preferable in higher bands where it is complicated to put an RF chain behind each antenna.

      There are some common rule-of-thumbs, which can be found in Chapter 2 of the book Fundamentals of Massive MIMO or somewhere in the book Fundamentals of Wireless Communications. It basically depends on the speed of movement, wavelength, and delay spread.

    What is transceiver chain sir....

    • @WirelessFuture
      @WirelessFuture  Před 4 lety

      It is the chain of hardware components that transforms a digital signal in the processor into a radio signal that can be transmitted by a physical antenna, and it does the opposite when receiving a signal.
