VANLIFE - The Luckiest Wild Park Up in Cornwall?

- After a trouble filled start to another vanlife tour of Cornwall from Ilfracombe in North Devon, we finally strike GOLD with the luckiest wild camping spot we've found this year!
With illness, campervan trouble and a crashed drone hampering our spirits, we took a short break from wild park ups and enjoyed refuge on a beautiful campsite Nr Truro before embarking on more travels around our favourite locations.
Wet weather didn't spoil much as we visited the Lizard Peninsular, Church Cove and Kynance Cove.

Great video! I’m one of the owners of the blue building (mungo Lils on the hill) down at the Lizard Point! Glad you enjoyed venturing around the lizard. Such a beautiful spot and we are very lucky indeed. Hopefully we will be open next time so you can have a look around 👍🏻

Last year we scattered my Grandads ashes down at church cove, just off the edge opposite where you were stood.. what a beautiful place! 🤙

Next time you are at the Woody Bay car park, if you need a site there is a fantastic place less than a mile away. Caffyns Farm. It’s class! Even if you pop in for a meal and pint of their own Cider the food is amazing and the place is lovely.

Such a shame you didn't get to enjoy our beautiful Kynance Cove during better weather 🌞 I live in Lizard Village, (you probably drove passed our house 🏡 on the way down to the point and St Wynwallow's Church 😊), and we look out across the fields over the cove from our west facing windows. We've had bright blue skies and no sign of rain for weeks now, but there's always the strong winds 😁 Would be nice to meet up next time you're down this way, when hubby's not at work. We're looking to do a van build ourselves, hence watching channels like yours, so it would be nice to meet other couples that have already done so. Hubby Ian has uploaded quite a few drone videos to this channel including local beaches at sunrise and whilst in his buggy 🛺 and bike 🚲😁
How lucky to live where you guys do, it’s SO beautiful (even in the rain).
We’re looking forward to another few weeks in Cornwall in July but don’t know about the specifics of where yet…Might just have to gauge the crowds & work around them 🤭🫶

Dude, you've literally got the most chilled life! I was born and raised in Cornwall (now live in Devon), but I could have such a different experience travelling around in a converted van (yours is sweeeeet), even though I know Cornwall like the back of my hand.

I used to live in Ilfracombe years ago and always longed to live in Cornwall! Weird cos North Devon is ace with some fine beaches and beautiful Exmoor close by. Anyway after a 15 year sojourn to France I finally ended up in Penzance. Love the enthusiasm of you guys always so positive and happy, a real tonic these days. Well done. 👍

Hello Andy and lil bleu, great video and what a wonderful little ventures you've had down there. Some beautiful villages, I reckon that lizard point could be a nightmare in the summertime with the small roads etc. Lil bleu is like speedy Gonzales when left off the lead. Safe travels

We did get our 6.4m motorhome into that car park at the Lizzard, the lane out of there is the narrowest lane we have ever driven down, an inch each side spare.

That was a great video. Brought back some great memories from 2009 thanks . We were on holiday with our little ones at Mullion holiday park then. Kynance Cove on a warm sunny day is outstanding place to be we loved the whole area down there. Now the little ones are adults we should really revisit in our van as a couple I reckon. 👍

Please don't ! Having stayed there in the past on an official campsite, we'd have been really annoyed to go for our late evening walk to the beach and find vehicles there. We'd all like a lovely view from our caravan/ campervan etc, but it's not fair to others or the environment, is it ? This is why people are getting fed up with campervans / motorhomes and spoiling it for all of us
Well, respectfully, if it’s after dark when you arrive, dawn when leaving and you leave no trace, I can’t see that spoiling anyone else’s view. Play morally fair, respect the location and then move on 🥰🫶

I visited all those places last year on a road trip around Cornwall so it was good to see them again ..... Cornwall is a great place 👍
Also did a North Devon road trip and ended up in that car park in Ilfracombe i found it pretty good although the church bells woke me up .... on the hour every hour 🙈🤣 keep up the good work 👍👍

That is the thing that puts me off travelling to Cornwall in our Motorhome. even though it is a sprinter underneath. it is a couple of foot nearly wider that a Sprinter it is based on. It was bad enough going down there in a HGV as we often ended up of the beaten track and would find stone walls hidden at the side of the road ans we would often have to back up when an on coming car was coming towards us, and we often break or bend something on the front of the Cab. That said it is a beautiful part of the Country. One day we will go down there once again, maybe in a similar sized van as yours. I would much rather watch one of your Videos that Judith Charmer's Wish You Were here. which I really liked as a child, but as I have gotten older travelling aboard has no real appeal. To much to explore on our own shores first.

Hi Andy, I’m surprised you don’t send it back to DJI. When my drone had a fight with a pigeon. They did a brilliant repair job with collection service to Netherlands and returned to Pembrokeshire within 7 days for only £100.
