One of the two ultimate easter eggs left by the devs of Chants of Sennaar. The coordinates revealed by the radio hidden in the Warriors area match the suggested location of the Tower of Babel

for those wondering, that is in modern day Iraq, near the western border. Unsurprising since that's where Babylon used to be and the game is an interpretation of the story of the Tower of Babel.
I mean the game is literally named after the land of Shinar as described in the bible.
0:38 this tower is REALLY tall, you can see 2 small circles in the google map image that are likely solar installations, if theyre flat then were talking kilometres high. Must have been very well engineered
The 2 circles seem to be 2 circle irrigation systems. But the tower is indeed really tall. That image was taken 6694m above see level, while the river is only 150m above sea level.
@@Ti-tq1jm ah i see. A casual 7 kilometres above sea level in the gardens. Given they're roughly halfway up the tower its around 15km tall! Definitely touching the clouds, but i wonder how high up the second image is (the abbey), thanks for this video
