I have all manner of envelope and function generators- but I always come back to the a-140. Great module. Btw, I think the word you’re after is ‘timbre’- ask a French speaker.
Thanks for this video. Wow that RETRIG feature is REALLY nice! Looking for a general purpose ADSR to replace my Behringer 140 Dual EG -- there's something wrong with the desing of the 140 with respect to the attack curve. I'd like an ADSR that would be a good replacement for the Moog 911 (System 55) as well.. not interested in the 911 since it is S-TRIG and well it doesnt' have RETRIG :)

Retrig is nice if your looking to play long sustained notes.
