Even though I am not a professional writer (yet.....There may be a book in me), I have gotten so many idea's from you how to use my notebooks. I love watching it and find it very motivating. I love the "leave your fears behind" and the "taco" notebook, because really- who does not LOVE taco's!

A lot of my stationery has coffee rings stains and coffee drips on them - I think htat is part of their charm. Don't worry about the coffee stains, makes the book unique !
Sarra, please do not stop your HBnotebookchallenge!!! I honestly love it, it has actually evolved since now you suggest pens and books!!! It has been such an inspiration to help me work and use my notebooks to see you continue to use yours as well. Although, maybe now that its been about a year or so, maybe a video on how you store your used notebooks? I have a few now and I'm not exactly sure what to do with them. Thank you! Keep doing what you're doing!

thanks to you I have been keeping a puppy notebook so I can see the progress he is making - especially on the days he's a little stinker! :) For the first time, I will be actually writing during nanowrimo. It's never really worked out for me to be actually writing - usually I'm planning or editing. I'm so excited to start book 2 in my Jabberwocky's Curse trilogy!

I am using a Harry Potter journal I got on Amazon as my gratitude journal. I have been using it since May. I have a red journal as my person journal. My green notebook is for my religious studies with the clergy from my synagogue, and my black journal is for my writing class. I just bought two more journals since I am not able to get out a lot due to the pandemic and being high risk. It keeps my mind off being away from my family and friends. I love the taco notebook! It’s so cute! I would love to have it and be able to use it!

I really enjoy the notebook challenge videos because it’s a monthly check-in on how we are using all our notebooks - stationery lovers I’m sure can relate we have many many many of them! I love that you share how you use them because they are ideas on how to fill notebooks as well - much appreciated! I think it would be fun if we all did similar videos and shared our monthly notebook goals - could be a cool community ongoing thing!
I would love to see it continue! It’s fun too see the different notebooks and how to use them up.

Echoing everyone else in saying I love this series and have enjoyed kind of loosely following along! Those Michaels notebooks are super cute, I have to go look for those.
Please keep the Notebook Challenge going. I have gotten so many great ideas on new ways to use my horde that I would have never thought of on my own. Also, I love the Leave Your Fears Behind. It seems like the perfect Q4 mantra as I try to wrangle my life back on track. :)

I look forward to your notebook challenge videos. It is reassuring to see someone else who uses so many different notebooks. I think my favorite is the pink kitty cover.
Just an opinion, I think that the coffee stains are like the hills, valley's and scars of the books journey. Its like having a book that you've read over and over. Well worn, well loved, dogged ear pages, notes of ah ha moments. Its like going back and remembering and savoring those good vibes and joy felt with each page.

I appreciate hearing you do your morning pages a little later in your morning, sometimes I feel like I don't have a morning routine or morning page(s) aren't worth it because its across 8-11am not right after I wake up

I'm doing NANO for the first time and I'm freaking out but mostly excited. I'm not starting completely from zero because I've been thinking of this novel for some time. I've been binge watching your videos almost daily to help keep me calm. I have my physical office space set up due to your preptober video and this is the most productive I've been in a while. So thanks for that. 😊

Setting a timer is a great idea! I used to journal nightly, but haven't in a while. I really want to try and get back into Journaling.

I have followed along with the Notebook Challenge since day one! It gives me such great ideas for using up my stash of journals, notebooks, planners, and TNs. It has helped me get past the "it's too pretty to write in" stage with a lot of them! I've since learned that any notebook or planner can be repurposed for anything! I am so glad to have finally discovered the CZcams world of other people who love notebooks and stationery and washi tape! I feel so seen. Haha, seriously though. Most people look at my notebooks and ribbon and wrapping paper and washi and they raise their eyebrows and just don't say anything. Very much enjoying these vids of yours.

I always look forward to these videos. I have way too many notebooks (if that's a thing), and I like seeing how you use yours. I have no suggestions for the notebook challenge, but I enjoy the addition of what books you are going to read. It gave things a fresh feel. Plus, gives me more to add to my TBR pile! Your notebook challenge videos keep me on track and remind me not to despair over my writing ability as I am only writing my third book. My first two are still in first draft stage. I have picked out my Winnie-the-Pooh notebook which I bought from the Disney store online, for this month to write my novel in. ❤ I love the purple taco notebook as it hit home as often it the past I have given a lot of time to others and they haven't noticed it or didn't appreciate it (e.g. school) even though they probably would have crumbled without me being there. 🥰

Its always cool to see your notebook use. I think that we will find it very hard to fill notebooks every month as we have a bunch of notebooks to keep us organized. But I still enjoy starting a notebook and seeing others slowly get filled. I will watch every and any video you decide to put up, love supporting you hugs!

I always love watching these videos ... I have recently started a new notebook to journal after each writing session. I also have a composition notebook for preptober tasks and brain dumping notes about my NaNo novel idea.
I'm using my discbound notebook for plotting my story. I am really loving it so far, especially since I can move the pages to where ever I want. So far I have 3 1/2 character sheets done, a draft of plot points for Act 1, and am brainstorming how I will write this. Yay!

I like writing morning pages too. But every day is not the same and sometimes I just don’t feel like it, so I don’t force myself. I think you did an amazing job and it doesn’t really matter how long it takes to complete your journals.

I am so inspired. I love the idea of a journal cover with putting the plotting details together. I love writing and have a different few plots and ideas for writing so this would be a good way to help separate them all, so will finally take the plunge and invest in a journal cover. I am currently reading James Scott Bell's Plot and structure, and thoroughly enjoying it, so will check out the Just write book you mentioned. I'm on my last notebook so will have to get a few new ones, and appreciate you sharing the ones you like using. Thankyou for sharing your tips and ideas.

Love the rose gold peacock washi tape card! Awesome :) Rose gold is making an appearance in so many places and it's one of my favourite (yes, I'm Canadian hahaha) accent colours. Giraffe notebook is adorable

Thank you for this, I'm ready for a boo-full month. I'm not a writer but a STEM Student. I'm a notebook collector as well, I'm planning another stationery shop after I received my EC order. You were right about the quality of EC stuff, It's shame I never got any pens.
I have been binging your planner videos for the past week since I finished up Yasmine Galenorn's videos and followed her recommendation to you. I've been back into my spirituality/pagan journals/work thanks to you both, and planning to go through your writer advice videos ASAP and starting to finally plan and work towards my indie publishing goals. Phew, this is a word salad comment, but I'm just so thrilled and happy and thankful to your content and inspiration!
Oh, and that bear notebook is the cutest thing. I adore the backlog of the notebook challenge videos, so even though I'm a newcomer, I'm happy for it having been going on. I like watching your videos in the background a lot but paying more attention is great with them as well.

And, I just bought the Simply Gilded sub box because I saw an unboxing and thought the traveler's notebook cover was just to die for 😍 I also really was tempted to get it when it had the lullaby stuff, so I figure might be the time in my life to just go for it.

I just stared watching your videos, since I will be working on my very own NaNo project, and I adore you. I trust me when I say, It's hard for me to finish a notebook too.
Love that jelly cover! I recently ordered one from Catspresso for my Leuchtturm1917 bullet journal. It's clear with holo stars and I am so excitedddddddddd! A suggestion for your May Designs notebook with the stains: you could do a washi pattern on it like you did the inside of your Stalogy maybe? :)
I think a little DIY art on that coffee stained cover would be fun! Dip a coffee cup in paint and set it down on that cover over and over again, if it turns out horrible you can always cover the whole thing with a sticker but this might be a way to salvage the title and be able to use it.
I like the forest notebook the best and I think the Challenge could evolve, maybe feature a follower who finished a notebook and show it off?

I love your chatty notebook videos! When you started this series I actually began using a notebook to make lists of all the ways I can use a notebook, lol. I would love the Saucy notebook because the inside is so fun! :)

For my morning pages, I've started using smaller a5 size notebooks and intending to fill that size every quarter - so around 4 notebooks per year :)
