Assess the conditions (water temp, time of year, water clarity, and wind) .... then cover water and try different lures until you get a positive result (fish on). .... Lots of info packed into a short video! Thanks for the great content! Keep it coming! 👍

Great answers here. I'm not a pro, cause I don't have a boat and so I can't even fish small tournaments yet, but I apply this knowledge to shore fishing as well. For instance, if you know a lake you've been to (or haven't) has shore access that gives you a chance to fish one side that may be windier and murkier but also has an opposite side within walking distance that is a little calmer then you can fish both sides accordingly. Just the other day I caught a 5.4 pounder from the bank in a place where the wind was hitting the tip of a peninsula I was on, so I believe those bass has the best of both worlds - they could enjoy the warming temps (I'm in Ohio) while getting baitfish the wind would blow in their direction. So, yeah, applying these tips to bank fishing is a little more difficult, but they work just the same.

KVD is the best. Common thread was: water temp/seasons, water clarity and wind. I hate wind but I'll probably have to embrace it.

i like the "obvious cover" route. If you are going to start somewhere start with something that looks fishy. The wind is something I don't do, which I will now consider doing.

Using search baits, moving fast. Great tips on creating a pattern. I tend to run from the wind, so next time I'll try to look at it differently. I like hearing different views on these things.

Good tips. I like relating fun fishing and pre fishing. You will have more fun if you move around and find he fish.
