DYWIDAG Stay Cable Systems - Kampen Bridge, Netherlands

The "EILANDBRUG" stay cable bridge crosses the IJssel river in a new section of the N50 motorway near the city of Kampen. The total length of the bridge is 381 m, the pylon is 93.5 m high and the main span is 150 m long and 20 m wide. Designed by the Bouwdienst Rijkswaterstaat, this bridge was built for the Province Overijssel. DSI Netherlands was awarded a contract to supply and install the post-tensioning in the concrete approach bridges and the stay cables for the main span.
