I love that in viewing all these videos (and I mean ALL) Pastor Kevin started and ended the evening with two principles of worship that are somewhat overlooked: "I'll be doing this for the rest of my life" and to paraphrase "even age can't pull me out of praise". Nice job Pastor K.
I attended a service like this once, a long time ago. While I could never be comfortable with this style of worship, I was very impressed with how friendly everyone was. The people there could have taught the congregation I grew up in some lessons on hospitality. I noted sadly that I was being treated much better than these people would have been at my (white) church of the time. While I still belong to the same denomination, I am proud to say that my present congregation is fully racially and ethnically integrated, with people from all over the world - and we all get along.
Sometimes, all you need at the moment, is one good ole fashioned knocked down, drag out, sweat ya'clothes out, fall out on the floor praise break! Some ppl might wanna be negative, btu I do believe this praise DID help keep some body out of trouble, out of mess, even took away a sickness in someone's body, or even was the key to somebody walking in to some NEW money! NEVER EVER under estimate the power of a REAL and GOOD ANOINTED praise!!
Be serious when it comes to praise God! I know some are not gonna do right, be watchful with your eyes and also your heart. God is not a toy!!! Those that worship him must do so in spirit and truth!!!
