my friend i put coolant at max because i saw it at min and i thought it was low. So when the engine is warm the liquid gets above the max level, when it's cold gets again at max level or a little below. Can this extra coolant cause damage to the engine? should i remove? (car runs perfectly)

Hi well to be honest when the engine it’s hot the liquid expands a little so it may show to be above max, but if it’s just a little it shouldn’t cause any problems. Any extra coolant usually runs back to the expansion tank, and that tank is fairly big..should be fine in my opinion.

@@DaringBeefcake it's about 3-4 fingers above when it's warm. That's what i thought, that this tank is long and difficult to overspill.I hope this extra liquid doesn't apply pressure to the cooling system leading to future problems.

@@DaringBeefcake I don't know how to remove...thanks in advance...but today i saw it again and warm is 2-3 fingers above max , when cold is a little below max so for the time i ll leave it like that and we ll see.
