What can I say except this episode is amazing? I’m someone that doesn’t really care for reward challenges and love strategy/tribal the most, so this lengthy tribal made for an episode I absolutely loved. Stuff like this is what I hope for going into an episode. A lot of the people that don’t like newer seasons because of idols got an all natural great tribal and blindside, so I don’t see how anyone would be mad about this awesome episode. This season could end up better than DvG, when expectations going in we’re the worst I’ve seen for any season.

This season so far is good but that was because the EOE haven't really ruined the outcome. But that Edge of Extinction thing, coming back from being eliminated and having 13 jury members is just too much.

Well, that's a quick way to get voted out. Insult people that can dictate your fate on whether you can stay or get voted out in the game. Funny thing is, obviously I wasn't there but by the looks of things, if Julia didn't freak out and insult people, the tribe would of probably turned their attention to voting Aurora out.

Too many good moments to choose a favourite, but I LOVE when David taps Kelley on the shoulder and says "Hi, Remember me?" at 1:39. Its so relaxed and smooth - like bumping into someone you knew in high school at a bar. He seems to easygoing despite the chaos and instantly puts her on hold. Amazing.
By far my favorite moment, then later when she flat out tells him he was the original plan. Just the little shocked face then, "well I appreciate your honesty"
The most bizarre Tribal Council I have ever seen in the history of this show. Tribal councils are becoming shows in themselves

For all the hate devens got, let’s be honest. That season would’ve been trash without him
Farouq Al-Sahara how can he get hate, one of my favorite players in all 40 seasons. He saved this season

Everyone judged too quickly about this season being horrible. Boy those people were wrong. It's actually really good and I loved this tribal.
It started slowly and last season was incredible so hence the letdown but it’s started to pick up since the merge.
This season of Survivor is by far one of my favorite seasons ever, and this tribal was my favorite as well

These players always make so many mistakes. Out of all these players Gavin placed the best and he was the chillest out of all the 11. If I was on survivor, I’d play a blend of Gavin/ Keith Nale/ or Natalie White’s game.
I really think Julia could’ve won this game had she kept quiet and voted out David

Fans don't hate him, he is entertaining to watch, however, there are few CZcamsrs that would always have something bad to say about any player which is gay. Read the comments about Aurora, which was great this tribal.
I want aubry back in the game, but i want her on the jury for the sole reason to just see her reaction to every single tribal.

It's because "Manu" carries a bad history as reputation of losses. It's basically a tainted tribe name that no one wants to associate themselves with.

Julia and Julie just slipped completely. Julie broke down mentally and was freaking out which was hilarious. Julia got tired of staying quiet and just let it out, getting kinda snappy (which I love). So messy and so good at the same time.
Btw Kama strong my ass I knew it. I've said it before but this is what happens when "big happy tribes" make the merge together.

If Reem was still in the game during that tribal, it would've been WAYYYYYYY more entertaining
nivtheman I know, but I think what made it entertaining was first off, Julie completely going crazy, then Victoria’s reaction after Julie says “I’m jumping ship!” “I’m jumping ship!”, then earlier, Lauren’s reaction at 2:23 in my opinion, she was probably saying, “what is going on at tribal council and how do I get out of here”

Doctor Strange Manu did nothing, this happened because of Julie’s paranoia and Aurora’s speech. Rick and David just wasted their rigged idol lmao flops.
@@a.jdeets5527 If it wasn't for Julie's paranoia, Rick's speech would not have worked. Why would Julie risk being in the bottom of her alliance when she could move? (Having said that, if she swapped, she was still going to be at the bottom of the new alliance. Either way, she did a zero-sum move but it's in her favour because she won't be targeted for that.)
Aurora's in tears after her first tribal council and Julie is in tears after her second. If Kama had been to more tribal councils premerge then those two would've done themselves in for sure. It's only because of the immunity wins that they managed to make it to the merge.

He works out what a person's currency is and sells it to them. For Julia, Gavin and Victoria, he sold them a chance to have a resume in the game. For Julie and Ron, he basically sold peace of mind. It's a great tool in the game.

Julie thought she was in the driver's seat, was extremely rude during council, so seeing everyone's vote switch to vote her out was pretty satisfying.
My favorite part about this? The eventual winner of the season is sitting over at the jury not even part of the craziness
That's my least favourite part tbh. It was a great season but knowing that all the winner did was be a part of 2 unanimous vote outs, tried to make a play which failed and sent him packing, returned at 6 with an idol which he used to go to final 4.
Like the only good plays he did was:
-Convince Lauren to use her idol for him
-Give up immunity and take Rick on fire making challenge.
And he gets the win over Gavin and Julia who managed to never get voted out (Heck Gavin didn't even get 1 vote in the entire season against him) purely because he managed to build a bond with the Jury on the edge is such BS to me. I hope this theme never returned after Season 40.
I can hands down say this, This was one tribal I had no idea what was happening - But I was here for the madness.
I had a feeling from the start this season might be a slow burner :) the evolution right now is totally epic. and imo this is the first successful big twist since... Blood vs Water?

When people said last season DvG is great, I think DvG is a bit artificial because the great moments are forced by the advantages and idols. The pure gold is having spontaneous, entertaining tribal council like this one.

I liked last season, but I applaud the producers this time, this is SUCH a risky season, they are flipping the script so much - and after cheesy themes or cheesy Ghost Island this works!
I love that the idols and advantages aren't really becoming apart of the season. They aren't being played and blindsides are just happening naturally. It was a bad start but the season is getting so much better.
