I have a question! How the businesses deduct the franchise & excise (FAE) taxes as business expenses? In Tennessee , the excise tax is 6.5 % based on net income. Therefore the amount of excise tax is unknown to deduct as business expense until we have net income. Thank you for your help.

then again, if it's in pdf form, then I could Ctrl+F to get to pertinent pages. business tax codes I could save my time on. Job related tax write offs are also a skipped section, namely the ones in industries im not in.
