I bought one of the inexpensive transmissions from Amazon and was amazed at how close it was to my Vanquish. I liked how you showed the SAE vs metric deal. I hadn't measured that. It's cool that someone tried to put out a decent one, with the shims and all. Mine was noisy till I ran it for a bit, now it's smooth as ice.

Like if they have to reverse engineer it anyway and put the parts into production why not put a little tiny bit more effort in and make a similar product that’s their own design?

They pay pennies and brand it and sell it at 200% margin or MORE. most times when you buy (not always) name brand hi price, you are being ripped off. Soooooo. Who is the thief? They are all marketing scammers and don't care. We should just buy cheapest possible.

I agree, it is stealing the design. It's shitty and unfortunately unstoppable. That being said I'm sure corners are cut, like materials and tolerances but for a lot of people saving the money plays a huge role in the decision made on which one to purchase especially if the cheaper version works well. I myself buy cheaper beadlocks ( treal brand ). None of them are clones of vanquish products that i own And I have had zero issues using them.

@@HighhScore precision machining cost money and so does design work. I thought some 3D printed parts were ridiculous until I started designing some of my own parts. Designing at least for me in CAD is a skill that I thought would be much easier. I am good with computers however when I started playing around in CAD I realized why design work is so expensive it takes a lot of time. That being said I can't afford vanquish parts all the time. I don't like spending crazy money on beadlock wheels when I can get something that works just as well for 1/3 the price. If no one purchased the bank wish products they would rethink their pricing I assume but they have a die-hard fan group that are willing to pay whatever they ask I'm just not part of that fan group.
