What is the song? Loving it!
Ignorant question because I don't ride: is this about aesthetics or remedying something that could be a major risk to safety? I get that you don't want bolts that shear or expand through corrosion but is this just cosmetic restoration? And I suppose that leads to the question why don't OEM make stainless bolts?

Yes just cosmetic restoration. Would be too expensive for manufacturers to use Stainless bolts on everything. Also whatever they put on the roads nowadays during the winter deteriorates nuts and bolts very quickly. Stainless would be the way to go
