@@SarahMcKelvie-hs6rj I didn’t see the point of such an enormous island. There’s plenty of room for an undercounter, fridge and freezer but it didn’t seem to be utilised. At the overlap where the stools were, there wasn’t even a big enough lip to get your knees under. Apart from that, I loved everything about the house.
@@nortontanzarella9857 I loved everything about the house, except that huge island. I love violence, I just didn’t see the point of why it was so huge because you couldn’t really use all the worktop. And where the stones were, wasn’t overhanging enough, but your knees to get under. But they had some wonderful Bowls platters et cetera. I’ve decided that’s where all the tasteful trendy people must live , in Puglia. Such a pleasant surprise not to see all that heavy dark furniture.
Probably the most stunning property I’ve seen completely renovated and not over 500,000k. Now I need something similar without all those stairs 😂

Stunning place. The tiles and ceilings are beautiful. The lack of bedroom and bathroom storage would kill me if it were a full time residence. Someone's going to be lucky to live there and enjoy it.
I cannot believe the paving flooring in the dining room is the original. It is in immaculate condition. Wonderful apartment. And the frames of the two single beds, gorgeous.

Been researching retiring in Southern Italy or northeast central Portugal. Italy is difficult for retired Americans to relocate. Portugal is as we used to say in Germany, kinderleicht. I'd prefer Germany or France because I already speak both languages, but it's close to impossible for Americans.

Very nice job showing this property. Is it still on the market? Is there a good way to communicate if interested in looking in this region? I found one of your small home videos very interesting where windows and doors had metal bar closures to protect when away. It seemed someone put a lot of time and thought into the home to put it up for sale, which made me think to ask if there are a lot of break in or burglaries in homes in your area? We plan to visit Leece - Monopoly - Oria - don't want to disclose when here ... would be interesting to meet

Obviously done with a very good taste and careful attention to retain the character of what was already there - but the price is very much for tourists.
There are so many properties available all over the country in need of total restoration that, in many areas, they are practically free. You just need to be careful to find the right people to help you do it.

Not a lot of storage and disliked the patches of bricks it looked like damp

Bedroom I feel small but I live in a large house with over five meter ceiling I think you would need to get the feel inside first.
350,000 is a huge price for all those stairs. Even you the speaker were out of breath. Nope, not worth the view if you are planning to live your life here. Imagine being older after retirement having to go up those stairs everyday. And then having to walk a distance as you mentioned to your car - Italy is known for car break-ins and theft. You need to show where the car park is and how safe it is. Another video showed a home around Lecce area, one block from the beach with 2 levels, private drive entrance, huge yard, detached home huge with its own 2 car garage attached to the home, also with several balconies and roof terraces for 150,000 Euros. The owners updated the home costing an extra 100,000. It has stairs but not as steep as yours to the second floor. With a master bedroom on the first floor with kitchen etc. A home to grow old in. Yours is not. Overpriced... Forget Oria.

You can easily do the conversion into square feet. You can also just Google to get the information about the taxes. Population? I was a real estate broker in New York for over 30 years and nobody ever asked “what’s the population of New York City” literally no one! But if you google Oria, it will give you the population. Or is it too much of an effort for you?

But Oria's wikipedia entry is not that difficult to find...
