The irony of toto - lewis's chat is amazing its so dramatic and yet i cant help but laugh- "the concept didnt work" - newey copies their homework. "He's a loyal guy" - leaves for ferrari
The 'zero sidepod' didn't work.....but newey's zero sidepod inlet with huge sidepods' is definitely a work of art...the concept is an inspiration but not the same
So now he has to stay with Mercedes for the rest of his career to be a loyal guy? He is leaving the team with a one year notice. If he left it the way Alonso left Alpine, that would be another story.

Toto and Merc celebrated the WCC that night and threw a huge party, all in the shadow of their lead driver literally having their championship stolen. Toto should have been in a room with a dozen lawyers figuring out how to fight for Lewis that very night.
