I never liked this song (mainly the first and second verses) . Even charice's version I dont like.
He sang it the same way Tony did. its low but the vibrato has too much frequency (too breathy) . I wished he sang it more through his chest voice with an open troat.. This type of sound reminds me of mariah's whisper notes.. Yes its beautiful but because of the high frequency of the sound, its tends to get too tiring to listen to. i feel like my ears are exhausted after listening to this song...Same goes with this version.. Low notes but very high frequency . anyway our opinion Is a matter of our preferences. Yes. He's a totally amazing singer but it doesnt mean that all his songs and covers you immidiatelt liked . he has a lot of songs that I'm crazy about.. His Different singing techniques that i love.. It just that this one, i really dont like... i say this because many netizens cannot accept constructive criticism...
If you listen to alyssa's part ( second verse ). You'll notice that she sang with a more open troat . makes her version more easier and pleasant to listen to
