Crochet glass holder
Hello, I have a question on the second increase. I always seem to end up with 45 stitches if I alternate two double crochet then one double crochet. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you!
I have the same problem....
I figured it out after several tries. To increase to 40, it's chain 3, 1 double in next stitch, 2 doubles in next stitch, 1 double, then 1 double, then 2 doubles, 1 double, 1 double, 2 doubles, etc.
you are not very clear in row 2 where you increase to 30 dc, you are saying 2dc, 2dc ,2dc.
This video is well intentioned, but has several issues. One, there wasn't enough emphasis on how incredibly small of a hook and yarn was used, so anyone trying this needs to have a specific size or it will turn out too big. Two the magic circle was done incorrectly (also why there was knots in it). Three, the pattern of increases was incorrect as well, specifically on row 2.
You making a video and don’t even know how to crochet. You made the magic circle wrong that’s why you had trouble with it.
