I have yet to hunt with these bullets. They were recommended by a friend who uses them exclusively. I can say they are the most accurate bullet I have ever shot out of my 300 WSM. Can’t wait to smack an elk and deer this fall.
@@markoeberhardt3132 No onside. 168 from a 7mm Rem mag. 2960 fps MV. Muly at 340 yards. Blew up on the onside shoulder and did not penetrate. The second shot in the lungs did the job. Not saying they always do that but it did then. I prefer the Hammers.
@@fotispapadopoulos6933 So you’re telling me you have a hole in the hide on the shoulder but zero hole in the bone?? Not calling you a liar but I’m sure you know how that sounds unrealistic. A bullet going that fast not able to penetrate even 5 inches, a shoulder on a deer isn’t that tough. The Berger is designed to shed some weight but not that uncontrollably, sounds more like a VLD. I would say that’s a true bullet failure man, crazy. My thing with Barnes is I see them fail to open a lot, they’re very hard.

Very interesting and informative. Thanks for your efforts.
Thanks for the video brother
Worth watching. Thanks
what caliber?
Thank you
Thank you for watching!
Seen them do great and seen them fail to penetrate a shoulder. I use TTSX LRX and Hammers.
So you’re telling me the bullet did not break a shoulder 🤔
The off side shoulder?

@@markoeberhardt3132 It had a superficial wound about 8 in in diameter
Is this a 270 win caliber?
