I build the Outbound's horizontal stabilizer, again NOT WITHOUT MISTAKES! I then have to pause awaiting dimple dies and microstop in order to flush rivet the center part of the skins. So I move on to the laborious elevator and trim tab. I eventually finish up everything including the stab tips, but not the balancing. I'll do that after paint.

Love the content. Good balance of entertainment and build details! Can’t wait to see how you transfer a plane from suburbia to the airport. Don’t make the mistake my Gandfather made and build a boat in the basement with no way to remove the finished product. 😁
Hey Scott, thanks! Oh no! I'd love to hear the story about how your grandfather fixed the problem. No issues here. I'll eventually rent a big Ryder truck and haul all the pieces (smaller than my garage door) to the hangar (being built). Thanks for the comment!
That elevator/trim tab build is no joke. Hits you with a complex part right at the beginning. I'd venture to say the hardest assembly of the whole build. If your ever in NorCal again hit me up to come look at my build. I'm on schedule to finish my S-21 by the end of summer.
I'm doing the elevator now... I am so glad to hear people say it's one of the most difficult parts because I've been struggling with it. Great videos. Good content and enjoyable to watch.
I'm pleased to see more build footage but saddened by the loss of a member of your flying family. Peace.
Thanks so much, Joe. I just attended the funeral this weekend. It was a tear jerker for sure. Full military honors gets me every time. I just wish there were less funerals...
@@CLEAREDDIRECT Amen to that, brother.
Awesome ! Its all a learning curve Sir
So Bummed to hear the Taz story Friend 😢
Nice update and good progress!
Thanks, Forrest. Ailerons and flaps done, starting the wings!
Nice work (two thumbs up)
I'm always impressed by a builder's attention to fine detail, cleanliness of one's work space and choosing the right tools for the job, all helping to reduce risk that might otherwise prohibit achieving desired outcomes.
Me too, though I don’t always achieve the cleanliness I desire! Sometimes it’s controlled chaos, but I always clean up after every major achievement. Thanks for the comment, Dave!
That flute though
Good stuff
Thanks, Don
That Helper? PURDIEST helper EVER and a PERSONAL FRIEND…. just sayin😂
Awe... She'll blush when I pass that along to her. Although she reads these comments too! Blue skies, Kent!
Awesome content as usual! I’m sorry about the loss of Taz, I never knew him but many people in Portland did.
Thanks, Joe. Taz was a good friend of mine and was lost in his RV-6A. So tragic to lots of communities.
A. b. d. Love it!!
Not a bad impression of Alec Baldwin's voice, either.
