Like the design good idea to keep those hogs away z. I noticed on my cameras when I would put one of those 30 lb blocks down on the ground and for a little while my deer would be eating it and once the hogs found it I noticed the hogs would move it like a soccer ball with their head and for some reason the nasty hogs would move it to a mud hole and then the deer wouldn’t touch it again I am going to try your idea and see if it helps and I also noticed like one of your other videos you tested which block was better the Sportsman Choice or big and j block , I noticed the deer, squirrels and birds and turkeys all loved the Sportsman Choice block over the big and J blocks plus the Sportsman Choice blocks are cheaper but wildlife love them.Thanks for the idea on block holders I am definitely going to try it out this spring.

Good job I did the same thing but then raccoons got it all!!!
Have the deer been able to find/use this well? I have a problem with raccoons burying them once they wear down or when using smaller blocks. Also where I hunt there is not a good stump or something I can set it up on to allow the block to not sit on the damp ground when it rains. Thank you for this video. I might try this. Your video also got me thinking that I might rig up a pedestal to set it off the ground a little bit with a drain at the bottom so it is not sitting in rainwater.
When I have a situation where there are no trees or stumps, I just plant a post. They sell landscape timbers at Lowes for pretty cheap. I have used those a lot.
