    I ran into another Element owner today. He was telling me he has 250K in his 2006. He told me to be sure to check transmission, not sure if he's talking about the same as what u replaced in ur video? But good to know that's one of the items to chk for. 👍🏾👏🏾🙏🏽

    7:05 That's what I needed to know! Last year when I installed the Level 2 Lowering kit, I had the hardest time reinstalling that mount. I didn't know I had to loosen that 17mm bolt to give some play!

    I just did mine a month or so ago and you did an excellent job with your video. An impact gun does make it a lot easier to get the bolts out. I did have a little problem getting to the bolt under the fuse box as I needed to use a narrower socket to get it to fit in the narrower space. I also had to adjust the the jack to get al the holes to line up but it wasn't bad.

    Another good thing to know is this is part of the engine drop kit installation if you need one due to a lift kit! Would love to see you make a video on the lift kit/engine and subframe drop kit install from somewhere like aerogenics. I’ve already got mine installed, but there’s really no good guides out there

    Great video.. milwaukee power tools make life so much easier working on anything. The mount is pretty simple to swap but you make it look easier so the non mechanically inclined can do it themselves and save a lot of money. Your videos are awesome, keep up the great work ;)

    would like to see how the engine moves or does not move with a good transmission mount installed, for comparison with the before condition (bad mount)

    Thank you. This video was very clear, concise, and informative. 👍🏻 How do you know when your transmission mount needs to replaced?

    • @Element_lifestyle
      @Element_lifestyle  Před 2 lety +2

      🙏thank you , I personally will replace my transmission mount in around 120k miles , OEM will last a long time 😎👍 in this video the Element owner had 140k and he said he didn’t have any concern . Only he want it to replace it for peace of mind because is lot of miles . After the replacement he said he felt a big difference even no shake at all , he was happy he replace it . Also when I remove the mount it had some Cracks around 👍

    Wedge a small piece of heater hose in between the mount and the rubber and it should last way longer

    So specific torque to the bolts is not necessary?

    • @Element_lifestyle
      @Element_lifestyle  Před 11 měsíci

      Yes, there is torque specs for all the bolts in the engine. But from experience I can just do it by feel. As long as I don’t torque it with the impact gun. If you would like to torque the bolts , I’m sure you can find the torque specs online . I will try to add torque specs in my future videos . 👍
