Congratulations to Samoa and respect to Chile from Italy 🇮🇹
amazing fans from Chile - i love it
South American crowds lift any game to another level
Goodluck for your next game, Chile. You all should be proud. Maalo boys! 🇼🇸 now I can go to sleep 👋🏼
Of course, we all are proud of our warriors... Thanks for your words!🤘
Proper spirit of rugby. As it should be.👍
Chile being absolute weapons in their first WC. Can't wait to see the rest of the games!
Vamos rugby sudamericano!
As a fijian brother, awesome game from our pacific brothers! 🇼🇸🇫🇯🇹🇴

The minnows have come alive. Uruguay, Chile, Portugal.. great win by Manu Samoa.
I was lucky enough to be able to watch a number of the minnow qualifying rounds for the world cup from Europe and Africa. The passion from the players and fans was wonderful to watch
Big respect to the usos from chile
Congrats Samoa and Great job Chile, you will be better and stronger next time.
Wow, what is there left to talk about? Manu Samoa's incredible RWC journey has only begun, maybe a semi-final match awaits you. I'm a kiwi and avid AB's supporter, but you guys are our brothers from down-under
As chile been first time in a world cup I am proud of los condores....I am convinced that it will be a great team.
AB ate are not invincible and afraid that they don't have what it take to win the cup.
Still always love the men in black.
Missising Ritchie and Daniel..
As a Samoa fan, Chile had us locked down in the first half and have my utmost respect for their performance. Samoa played okay, but it easily could've been 50-60 if they cleaned up their handling errors and were much more clinical. Respect to Lealiifano, but the clearance is way too shallow. Many other teams can clear it down 60 metres at least. Regardless, win is a win, and the bonus point is bound to come in handy, GO MANU🇼🇸🇼🇸🇼🇸 Thank you, Chile, for the game🇨🇱❤️
Sole did they have butter fingers or sim because so many knock ons from them
How was Sopoaga at 10? I remember 2015-16 him and Mo'unga had very similar skillsets
Think the ball was soaked in baby oil 😛 Well said uce. Up the Manu! 🇼🇸
@@Styllahthey just got finished preparing the feed for after the game. Probably had to cut some galos, set up the umu and open the coconuts lol.

Scrappy first half from our Manu however they got things sorted in the 2nd half. Credit to Chile for their resilience and that Chilean crowd was something to savour. Didn’t know that were that many Chileans in France. What a RWC it is.
mayority traveled from Chile, prosperous Country!
Vamos Chile, fuerza dde Argentina!
Ese es el camino! Vamo y vamo Chile!
❤ Hats off to all the Minos Nations, (Uruguay, Chile, Romania etc). What a RWC Tournament seeing these Rugby development Nations improving in every RWC. Give them a few more years and like Japan, Italy etc...They too will no longer be a FILL IN to make numbers. Keep it up Minos, all the best ❤
Shout from NZ good to get that first win under the belt guys 👍
Referees just love the limelight
Well done Samoa. How good is Theo Macfarlane , he just gets better and better.
Samoa needs to step up the aggression. Only we would be kicking penalty goals against Chile. This pool could come down to points differents so racking up points is crucial. If we play like this against Japan, England and Argentina then we're in for an early exit. A win is a win but this should be a wake up call, come on lads! Credit to Chile for chasing tries instead of penalty goals 👀
I agree with you but ther is no problem with kicking all penalties. We are using our advantage now..we have very skllfull and accurate kickers in our squad.
@@juniorafaasoaperaamo463 I definitely agree that we do now have 2 formidable goal kickers and they will certainly be handy against stronger teams like Japan, Argentina and England. This game against Chile was a great opportunity to get combinations in attack going especially in the backs which I thought struggled. Kicking at Goal should've been the last thing we did against a weaker side. All in all, Chile did play with passion.
@@lisejuniortavae8825 yes I can see your point now. We should have aim to get points in this match because for sure we know that we will win this game. Yes, a good strategy as well.
¡Viva Chile!

That Taumetine try was sick
Oh yes, I reckoned its the best try in this world cup series.
To be critical; Samoa catch and pass is still really letting them down, even factoring in the heat and humidity. You could see that Portugal were able to string together far more phases on a regular basis, while basic catch and pass would often kill off a promising counter attack from Samoa. Set piece was a mixed bag, with lineouts being good, but the scrum a concern. Some hard carries and a few moments of individual brilliance are what really got us over against a committed Chile, who fell away a bit in the end as they ran out of steam. Samoa defence is also a concern with positioning still a problem and lots of one on one missed tackles. In short if we don’t fix the basics and the boys start understanding each others position better in D, we are unlikely to get another win. Here’s hoping they can put it all together in the next game and the team selections remain settled to build cohesion.
Samoa has never played Portugal in Rugby (and I am guessing limited other sports). You copied that commentary from somewhere then later remembered to change the name to Chile.
See how the touch judge distracted the Samoan halfback allowing the Chile prop to score first try of the game. World Rugby!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Disciplina ? 🤦♂️
Well done Samoa just focus get discipline right for games a head.Nice game.Big games are coming just stay focused play nice game of rugby remember discipline keep cool and rest will follow❤
Rugby world cup need to either improve the quality of their highlight videos or allow broadcasters and analysis channels, who actually know what they're doing, the rights to the footage. Please change something.
Score Chile 10 yet zero footage of how they achieved that.
Yes the highlights are terrible..
All they want to show on other videos are NZ twerking Kakka dance or other teams singing at the start of the games. I want to see the game.
excelente primeros 35 minutos de chile contra Samoa
The Most chill comment section I've seen in this whole RWC.
Go the manu make us proud 🇼🇸🇼🇸🇼🇸Go samoa
good man Chile #20 ✊️
Well done my Manu Samoa what a opening game for the 2023 world cup boys ❤
Can we please get a commentary highlight reel of the super smooth tongued Jamie Lyall? Easily the best commentator in the modern game. Cares about pronunciation of pacific islanders names, has a beautiful way with words. He adds an extra element to watching a game, rather than biased has beens trying to remind viewers of their glory days..... Looking at you here ITV!!
Oop...🤭🍵
These yellow & red cards 😡 where you supposed to put your head in a tackle in your back pocket ??
Lol I reckon
Up the Melbourne Storm ⚡️🏉
No no, only union. League is for meth head bogans
Is it me or are they just trying to give the most yellow cards as possible in this world cup?
Nah bro fr aye, france is soft or something.
It's a competition with the refs who has the most cards issued out.
The referees don't want the players to have the limelight. As soon as the players started playing some rugby the referee goes "Oh no you don't do that until I tell you otherwise. I'm the boss around here".😂😂
everyone gets a card!!
@@MusMasi lol
Paul Williams killed the flow of the game
Congratulations 🎉Uso's...
Love from Fiji 💙
These videos need to be at least *6 minutes* long. Highlights of 3 minutes might work for soccer where there's hardly any goals or action, but with rugby there's far too much happening that you're not showing here.
At the end of the video it states you can watch extended highlights. They sold it. Look elsewhere for free
@@oldblack15😂😂😂😂
In between rolling mauls and yellow red cards the game is no longer what it used to be
Exactly, getting too soft with these stupid rules.

MANU SAMOA🤟🤟
Good effort from Chile despite Samoa prevailing eventually
Vamos los cóndores ❤ 🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱
Cards will decide the biggest games.... they reviewing everything 😢
Imagine Farrell saying sorry after committing a foul 😂
Proud of our manu boys to come up with a win… but our handling errors are letting us down and our kicking game is not up to par… but that’s no excuse, cause we’ve got potential, I just the boys work harder on the basics throughout training this week cause we’ve got a challenge coming up, but malo Le ka’alo boys, finau pea 🇼🇸🇼🇸
Bkn!
Go manu! Best wishes from Fiji.
Congratulations Manu Samoa great start and well done. May our Lord bless you in all of your games in Jesus Christ’s mighty name
Congratulations Manu Samoa 👏! Peter 🇨🇭⛑️
A disappointing effort from Chile after their impressive opener. Far too many errors in front of a whistle-happy ref. Too predictable on attack. If you can’t score from the 5m mark, you’re going to have a tough tournament. Samoa can play much better than that, too. Discipline, boys! Crowd was into it.
I think it’s because most Chilean players only play in Chile and here the referees aren’t that exaggerated about the tackles. In Chile rugby players tackle harder than what the RWC referees want, so that will improve with international games and more experiences like this
@@Agustin_R , it isn’t a matter of how hard the tackle is, it’s the point of impact. Blows to the head are not allowed, and haven’t been allowed for years now. But there were far too many offsides, which is a real problem at this tournament.
@@garywagner2466 for being the newbie in the tournament, playing at this level, and coming 1 week from the match against Japan while Samoe came freshie... I thgought the score would be worst. But yeas, the anxiety of facing a strong team like Samoa, make Chilean players making stupid penalties
Argentina vs Samoa will be an ugly match. Calling it now! Cards all over the place. Lavinini guaranteed...but reckon Pumas will pull it off.
Latino derby
Argentina are in trouble again, Samoan is next, they will demolish the Argentinian like before, the Samoan are too strong for them...
@@JuanIgnacio90s you already feels it brother, sorry man , fact is fact ,, even though ur have millions people, doesn't matter pacific islands mentality too much to handle for any American teams out there...
Next Game against Argentina. Samoa will go for tries only, no more penalty kick. Finalize... Samoa 105 - 48 Argentina 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
with how the refs are reviewing everything Cardanini is a given hes goign to get a card.

Samoa were awesome well done
Samoan fan, good game for Samoa
Good game Boys ❤
Congratulations Samoa
Enari and Sopoaga starting at 9 and 10 for Samoa? Wow
They both came of the bench
Chile player apologizing.. fair play!
Samoa!!! Superb win
Next game is a must win for Argentina otherwise they're out of the comp. My head says they'll win by I really hope Samoa do.
Bien por los trasandinos. A sumar experiencia.
Congrats Uso 👏👏💯💯
Vamos Chileee!! A poner corazón!!
Saludos
That rib breaker was worthy of Brian Lima himself
Why you dont show points from drop kicks and penalites?

World rugby needs to run separate events for tier 1 and tier 2 nations. The games when the smaller teams play each other are fun; less so when they play the big guns.
Smaller teams are growing due the fact are facing strong teams you know nothing by the way.
