wow, this is the kind of dubstep I like, all other tuts are just riddem based with 1 or 2 consistent basses playing, this actually has some variety and rhythm, nice! thanks for the tut man
@@magneon7871 yes, keep up the good work man! I love how you explained how and why the eq's and effects work rather than just showing them like 90% of the other people and how you made it good enough for it to be of use to me in a completely different DAW
Dude, why do you only have 92 Subs? Your music is really good! your melodic dubstep video inspired me alot!
Oh damn, thanks so much dude. I guess its just I dont post a lot. I should totally get back into it
Super dope. Exactly what I’ve been looking for
Solid tutorial! Subscribed!
I like your names on markers! Nice trick with envelope attached to mix knobs in reverb/delay in serum.
Dope video man. You need more subscribers. :) I know this was a while ago. But if anyone cares to look at your frequency shifted drums with a oscilloscope you'll notice that abletons Frequency Shifter does not retrigger so it literally changes how your transients sound. Subtle but you can see that your waveform changes every time. SO...resample them after shifting for more consistency. Food for thought
@@magneon7871 I know right? Pretty dope. Probably never hear the difference but you will get different levels when shit sums together so it helps a lot with mixdowns
You should try do Kompany or Wolli!
How do you sidechain your Cymbals/Crash with your Kick/Snare? Itried figuring out by looking at your screen but couldn't
I think I explained it at once point in the video, but basically what I do is I sent the cymblals to their own sidechain bus inside of the drum group. And I use the same method of sidechain that I would use on instruments
Where did you get that serum skin?
Well, I bought a flat serum skin and then changed the color pallet to the one that Virtual Riot uses for his serum skin
Can you share your effects
rack on your bass plz ? :)
I think I explained it well enough for you to recreate it yourself. Do you really need it that badly?
@@magneon7871 well yeah tour explanation are really clear but went I try myself it doesn't sound the same I can't give space and everything to my bass :/
