Keep Your Chickens Entertained for Hours! Chickens Love a Good Block Treat and Ice Cube Treat.

My chickens have been struggling with boredom ever since the Hawks and Crested Caracara (Mexican Eagle) have been on the prowl. The poor chickens have had to be in their coop much more often, which has led to some feather picking and boredom. These are 2 of my favorite treats to make them. The block treat keeps them entertained and is full of good nutrients for them! The ice cube treat is so cheap, versatile, and helps keep them cool in the morning. Thanks, for making this video. I will try these ideas. We have the mill worms. Our dog chases away the birds. Our chickens free range. We are thankful for our dog. Our dog feels like she is important and she is vigilant. We still have all of our chickens. They have many places to hide from the hawks. Thank you! They will enjoy the treats.

Thats great that your dog does that service for you:) Our dog helps a lot with the hawks as well, but the Mexican Eagles (that's their street name) are brave and will try to get them even if I am out and around! There a plans in the works to add a larger run, but until then, fresh treats it is!
