- “Sometimes, the best things in life are the simplest.” Using an 18-inch ring light and a large Light Cone, V-Flat Founder, Tuvy Lemberg, walks us through how easy and efficient it is to shoot jewelry with the Light Cone. It’s a simple yet highly effective setup that cuts down on shoot time and editing so you can quickly list your images for e-commerce or catalog.
The Light Cone casts soft, even, flattering light onto your products while eliminating unsightly reflections and shadows. Shiny, reflective, and difficult-to-shoot objects are now quick and easy to photograph.

This is how I do mine as well, it’s a awesome setup
Thanks mate 🙏👏👏👏
Thanks for your input
How can I remove the camera reflection on the product from the cone
Can you please tell me what white surface material the earrings are on? I’ve been struggling to find a non-reflective white substrate to shoot on. Thanks
What camera should we invest in for jewelry?
I notice the westcott ring light is battery operated. Is DC required to get rid of the black bands in images or will an plug in ring light not have banding also?
How do you hit different angles though?
I did see a slight black line around the rings.
Bro, how many output watts have the ring light?
Is it possible to buy the cone from an italian distributor or Amazon?
Is there some new about it?
Just to avoid spending the same prize for the shipping!
can you photograph iso 100 f11 with ringlight 130 watt?
I wasn't convinced with the rings, but oh boy that showerhead, kettle and hair dryer... 🥵
Do you have a specific ring light that you'd recommend? We're in e-commerce, but definitely not professional photographers. We've been struggling to get the right setup for our shiny brass products so any help would be appreciated!
Most ring lights offer the same features. I would suggest going on Amazon or BH Photo and finding one with lots of good reviews.
What light cone brand did you recommend and what is the light setting? I have seen a lot of selfie light cones on Amazon and wondered if they will be suitable and bright enough.
Amazon traffic cones? 😂
Hiya, any reason you're using that c stand and grip head backwards? The weight of the camera should be on the other side of the grip head.
Its like that so we can attach a ballhead, its hooked up to a spigot
hello, can you please give us the reference of the ring light you use because some on the market have a big part at middle to withstand a camera ... and i don't dare buying cones until i have found the right ring flash
Hi! This is the Westcott ring light 😁
What size ring light did you use? I have a large cone. What would be the best size for it?
This one is 18 inches!
Awesome!!! I already ordered the large!! Can it be used to photograph bottles standing up vertically as well? If so, is there a video demo? Thx!
You can lay the Light Cone on its side. We have videos on our instagram :)
@@vflatworldplease can you tell me where to find the white surface material that you’re placing all your objects on?
How do you shot rings on the side since you can only shoot from the top with the cone?
You can lay the cone on its side! If you are having trouble, a C-Stand would be really helpful.
Hi! Do you recommend this setup for food photography?
Our cone is made specifically for shiny objects, such as metal, jewelry, etc. we have not tried Food, but I’m sure it will work as well. If you end up experimenting, let us know. :)
Bro for Clothing mobile photography
Is the matt side of the cone facing the subject or the glossy side?
The cone is matte on both sides
@@vflatworld My cone is glossy on one side. That is why I asked the question.
I engrave coins, I shoot all my videos and fotos with an iPhone 14 Pro Max, what else do you recommend to get the best possible pictures? I sell most of my coins on eBay. Thank for any help!
Hey! Do you have The Light Cone yet? If not I recommend getting our medium Light Cone :)
Hi,
Where I can purchase to cone for smartphone please?
Hello! All of our products are on our website :)
Thanks ! Where can we find this ring light please ?
You can find it on Amazon. Any ring light will do :)
@@vflatworld Thanks ! What size do you recommend for the largest light-cone?
@@yanncabello6268 i would say 18 inches or above should do the trick!
where to buy the cone
Amazon, but it take about 7 days for shipping. If you need to shoot today, go to a craft store and make your own.
