Poppers are one of the best lures. I’ve started using them like 2 weeks ago and caught over 40 bass on them. Poppers are definitely really sick lures!

Fun spook fact. Or walking topwater fact. James Heddon first ever threw a piece of wood into the Mill Pond where I was born and live in Michigan back in the 1890s. Dowagiac is the town. Spooks were made here forever. The lake I live on is loaded with big bass and fish in general. I put a dock skipping video up today with a good bass from the lake. Let's do a Heddon lure challenge on the Mill Pond where James Heddon started making lures. My first largemouth ever was on a Heddon over 20 years ago.

You inspired me. I went down to Harpers Ferry yesterday (8/18). Pre-storms in the morning. We had a blast. Visibility was tough in the water but still had fun. Only managed to bring in a catfish (even though I was targeting Smallies) but that cat couldnt resist my crankbait. I'll be heading there more often. Just don't know any of that river, or any good spots!

That Blooper is my jam! I've caught so many fish on it this year. Quickly becoming my favorite top water. It walks beautifully. Get about half of em walking it.
You should go farther up stream to Dargon’s Bend. There are walleye and huge Tiger Muskie…I caught a 30 pounder up there a few years ago…

Next time try like I do. Bring a pool noodle. Gives you just enough flotation when going through the deep between bolder’s.
