Troy Baker did an amazing job as Indy. Not just the voice, the little expressions and mannerisms that Harrison did as the character.
I don’t know, all I hear IS Troy Baker. The inflection and delivery doesn’t remind me of Harrison Ford at all, apart from the “what do you mean if *I* can keep up?!” line.

@neko_samurai it's tiring that the dude shows up in so many of these projects because of how easily recognisable his voice has become that I don't think of the character he's voicing rather I hear Troy playing himself

It is a shame they did not hire that Indy actor who everyone wanted to play in the Solo film instead of that other guy everyone didn’t take to… it would have been a nice homage for him to get to play Indy in the end… would have looked good for fans… but they went with the industry darling

Was just about to say. I am not keen on a first person perspective for adventure games like this. That's what made Tomb Raider so good.
i like the campy fun tone it had like the originals. Also the voice actor for indy did a fantastic job. As a huge indiana jones fan, im pretty excited

Yep another game garbo that focuses on graphics. What ever happened to simply fun games? Why does every modern game has to focus more on making it an IMAX garbo with "aesthetics" than simply a fun game with interesting story.

The only bit that took me out of it was Indy jumping from one speeding plane to the other while their wings were lined up... To misquote Harrison Ford from another movie...that's not how Physics works!

No more realistic than surviving a speeding tank careening off a cliff, or jumping minecarts over a track gap perfectly, or outrunning a massive rolling stone, and that's all just the original trilogy.
Realism has never really been a focus of Indy action, let's be real here. Stuff like this is just par for the course for Indiana Jones.

Troy Baker nailed Indy's voice, he is on point. I've always liked Troy Baker as the voice of Joel in The Last of Us. So it's no surprise he'd be great in any game.

Troy Baker did a fantastic job recreating Indy’s voice, I’m surprised they didn’t include him in the Dial of Destiny Flashback scene co-Voicing with Harrison Ford like JEJ did alongside Hayden Christensen in Kenobi.

How does this story look 100000 times more original than what Disney put out as a last Indy film? HOW?!
How was Dial of Destiny unoriginal? It had an artifact we'd never heard of, a plot element the series has never touched on, and characters we'd not seen before, and a solid send off got Indy framed around him being stuck in his love of history not allowing him to appreciate the history being made around him. What more did you want?

The last Indiana Jones was a total flop. Even Harrison Ford knows that. Even Sound of Freedom overshadowed the last Indiana Jones movie.

Definitely 💯 looks promising, opening cutscene is totally classic Indy, love it ! I personally think the fps perspective is a really cool idea something different and really immersive, not to mention unexpected. So far this shaping up to be the Indiana Jones adventure I’ve been craving for years !

Not nitpicking at all. Like you said, the punch sound is so distinctive to Indy as are the whip snap and gunshot sounds. It's details like that that help the immersion.

True fact ... those who spend their life constantly motionless are the same people who get motion sick.
The remedy to your issue is to keep playing these types of games until the vomiting stops. This is not a theory. This is how you defeat motion sickness. It is called "getting your sea legs". You have to train your brain to not get motion sick. Stop playing those slow motionless games and get yourself to normal status

Obviously my job doesn’t make me motion sick because I wouldn’t have been doing it for 15 years. Not a complaint but I think they should’ve done it in 3rd person. Same with Farcry. Its far more cinematic and that’s an important factor when you’re making a cameo out of, well, cinema
First person is more immersive and the whip action scenes work better that way

@@IAmSarlosCantana that's why I think Indiana Jones being 1st person was the right call because Machine games (Starbreeze games) are the same dev team that made the Riddick games back in the OG Xbox and the immersion in that game was second to none. Also it makes the game unique and nobody can say it's a Tomb Raider/uncharted rip off....they did the right thing by making it 1st person
