Yes , 8 million Kenyans never saw any suitable candidate and mostly they were young educated Kenyans that you see in the streets now and have no allegiance to the existing political formations. That’s why even Raila this week was surprised when they said they will greet him too and halted his walk towards talks for government of national unity.

    Claiming NATO had regional connotations is stretching it too much. NATO having a base in Kenya or not has minimal implications for our small weak countries/armies/economies. The Gen Z have not even raised such an issue. The presence of NATO positioning and projecting itself in competition with major world powers. Even more ridiculous is to imply M7 could have a hand. The issues plaguing Kenya are purely internal and to a very small extent external on account of the fact that Ruto is under the grip of the west

  • @Alphonce-jm1hy
    @Alphonce-jm1hy Před 2 měsíci

    Ruto is just part of Kenya's problem. The entire Political Class is. That said, in Kenya, there are now three main centres of power. Ruto, GenZ and Raila. The first and the last can mix and mingle, but the middle (GenZ) is independent of any political affiliation. Raila still has his foot soldiers intact, most of the older generation and Millennials. He genuinely wants to help Ruto wither this storm, but his followers are reluctant on this. It may kill the only opportunity Kenyans have for good governance (sorting Kenya's mess once and for all). Every Kenyan wants a working government, accountable only to the people of Kenya. The current problem in Kenya is an economic problem made worse by the greedy class. Reading politics in it misses the mark.
