- Great Dane Gunner is a multi-colored Great Dane. He is so unique looking. His coloring is called Harly-Merle. He is so goofy and Ive tried to capture all his funny antics in the last 6 months, from the time I got him at 8 weeks old.
I did not read that Gunner had passed away until after wtaching the video. I am just devestated to learn that. I don't want to imagine losing such a wonderful little boy at such a young age. Belated condolences.

Your Gunner could have been the twin brother of my Great Dane. In his goofy and playful manners and the colorless of his coat. Love him forever.

Aghhhh Great Danes are the best. I only had 7.5 years with mine, but they were a super fun 7.5 years :-)
Great danes have such goofy, loving natures and I think they really capture your heart faster than any other breed.

Gunner has the most unique and beautiful coat I have ever seen! My heart melted with the clips of Gunner and Lovey snuggling together. Love them! And of course their other doggie sibling!

Just watched Gunner's video. Laughed and then cried when I found he had passed away. He was BEAUTIFUL! So full of personality and I love hearing "mamma" laughing in the backround so often. You were given a special gift to get to know and love this amazing dog, if even for such a short time. I know his giant paw prints will remain on your heart forever. LOVE him barking at himself in the bathroom mirror, and getting into your bath tub. What a goofy sweet boy. I have a dane mix from the shelter and I know they are the most loving, sweet, funny dogs. Kevin the Wonder Dog makes me laugh every single day. What human can you say that about? So sorry for your loss. Try to remember your blessings. I would love to see more videos of Gunner when you feel you can post them. xoxo

Love your video! We adopted brother and sister great Danes and we love them. Just read the comments and so so sorry to read Gunner passed away. We cannot even think about that day. Our hearts go out to you. Our barnicle is a real goof and Gunner totally reminds me of him!

Hi, Keleen here. I wanted to update you on my most recent additions. I adopted Gilda who is Gunners cousin (same grandsire) She is so much like him but spent her first 8 months in an awful backyard breeding home. Then Mr. Maslow came along. He came to visit and he and Gilda ran into the back yard playing. I think they remembered each other as they are brother and sister! He looks like Gunner but is a traditional harlequin. If you had told me when Gunner died that Id love another dog more, I would have said. No, Gunner was it for me. But as I sat on the floor crying about my sister getting Alzheimer's, Maslow came tip toeing into the room and started smooshing his face into me. I actually started laughing and coudnt stop. Mr. Maslow is so mellow (like my Hero was) I really feel he was sent to show me that life does go on, and it can even be better than imagined. He is also European and beautiful. I still dont know why Gunner died, but if he hadnt, I would never have rescued Gilda who needed me or Mr. Maslow who I needed. I also made a new friend (Mr. Maslow's original mom) and Mr. Maslow will be making an appearance on "Portlandia season 4 starting Feb 27 2014. Thank you for all your kind words. Great Danes do have short lives, but dont stop. I almost stopped but so glad I didnt, Keleen
Herohadiakeleen I just watched your video on Gunner and thoroughly enjoyed it! Then I read in your comments that he died. I am so sorry to hear that, but glad you have 2 new beautiful souls to comfort you! I lost my 2 babies to old age a couple of years ago and it still hurts so much! Im happy you have Gilda and Mr Maslow to comfort you and for new memories!

We just lost our third Dane, a blue female, lost her litter mate a year before, male blue, both had cardiomyopathy, our first Dane, female harlequin died years ago. After our last one died, my wife said “no more Danes, you put so much love into them and they don’t live long”. At first I agreed, now I am in a Dane less home and can’t stand it, we are currently searching for another Dane. There is just something about that breed that unless you have loved one you don’t understand the miracle they bring into the family. Danes will forever be a part of our family.

Oh my, i was just going to comment on his beautiful coloration when i saw the post saying he was no longer wiht us. I'm SO SORRY. And so young!! I have a dane named Henry....don't we just adore our danes?! I'm glad he had a wonderful hearted owner while he was here. :)

Gunner is a beautiful Great Dane. How is he doing these days? This was 7 years ago. So its been awhile.....We just got our first Great Dane a week ago. Great dogs. I have been around them but never owned one until now.

I Love my Bella’s beautiful ears, not clipped. I got her spayed and plexy too at 13 months old. The Great Dane Rescue required me to wait till Bella was as a year old, since early spay caused endless UTIs.

I’m going through something now with my pup I got her from a akc Breeder and she is SERVILELY under weight when we got her. She says it’s bc the mom wouldn’t feed them and she had to bottle feed them. Idk what to do I want to report her. And she’s still not eating
