Part 3? Maybe less current or use uninsulated wires holding the plates with a better connection and farther above water

Unfortunately not yet ! But maybe in my other channel some day.
That's right, the connection between wires and steel plates should be fixed better to prevent waste of electricity in the form of heating followed by steel plates corrosion at the junction site.
The junction should be punched and pressed... Using copper tape and brass/ copper pins
