    1. Prep hair with product to be curled. Create a 3-inch halo section around the head and clip away. Smooth remaining hair with a bristle brush and secure with an elastic. This will be stitched over in Step 4. Quick Tip: Use a flat iron on this section before smoothing, avoiding ends.
    2. Take a ½-inch parting from the inside of the halo section, creating subsections to be braided. Starting in the front of the head, braid subsections back to the nape. Join together and secure with an elastic. (Make sure the braids sit ON TOP of the previously smoothed section.) Release smoothed section from the elastic.
    3. Curl all hair with desired iron size. Apply finishing product once curls are done.
    4. Starting at the top of the head, tie fabric to either braid. STITCH back and forth creating a zig-zag pattern ending at the nape. Tie to braid when finished. Cut any remaining material.
    5. Take small sections from the halo, STITCH into the braid in a looping pattern.
Quick Tip: Keep STITCHing and looping hair into the braid to create an updo.
