    VSL is wise to have asked A-K D to promote their product. She has quickly established herself as one of the top virtual orchestra CZcams faces--and with good reason. Ms. Dern is top drawer talent.

    So cool that VSL teamed up with her.👍 Well done @Anne-Kathrin.
    Synchron Brass is probably superior to others especially when writing for concert band. It sounds much more like the brass sections here in Austria. Super flexible product it seems.

    Thanks for such an informative review. I notice from the video that your negative delay setting for legatos is -60, would you be kind enough to share the settings you used for shorts and longs?

    Sounding good. Are you planning on doing a review that covers more action-filled musical styles, making more use of shorts and so on?

    Very nice mock-up. Even so; versatility is one thing, actual sound quality something else. How would you compare this library to, say, Cinematic or CineBrass, in respect of sound quality?

      Hard to find info on VSL vs these libraries. I get the feeling she isn't over the moon about it for her needs. It is hard to find fault with the sound ,available articulations and detail in the programming. However, the price of their products is tough to swallow vs the competition. I am trying to make a decision before black Friday

    Thanks a lot for this review. I recently bought this beautiful product and now I have a better understanding of what "Timbre Adjust" actually does :) It's always a pleasure to work with VSL libraries because they have the highest quality standards I know - I have a ton of libs from other companies as well and there are almost always some problems with strange legato transitions, unclean programming etc. but that never occured to me in any of VSLs products.

      It’s more like a filter that gets applied. You could do this manually by setting up an EQ and automating the different frequency bands but having it in a CC is much handier and simpler than that.

    • @ViennaSymphonicLibrary
      @ViennaSymphonicLibrary  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi! The Synchron Player is designed to manage all your articulations for one instrument or section on one MIDI channel and in one instance.
      However, a few composers prefer to work with separate articulations on separate MIDI channels, so you will need more Synchron Player instances for this workflow.
