THats a lot of great stuff. All over it is just bag after bag.I got the entire dt store garden dept. all in sealed cases pots, seeds, decorations, tools gloves etc. ,35 cases in all and it was getting wet in the rain as they left the lids open. I got it all and donated it to the community gardens.They were shocked.to hear it was dumped because the boxs got a little wet.,over 5 000 dollars in product ,what a waste .

You make me laugh sometimes. My husband's accent isn't as strong as yours, but once in awhile he will let out a word or two that has a little southern kick to it and "stick" is one of his words. Sounds like "steeek"🤣 Just the other day he said he was "Fixin' to go outside and pick up all the steeeks from the storm". He was raised in Oklahoma until he was about 10 and then spent the next 15 years in Florida. His family still all live there. I suppose his has faded over the years since he moved here to Pennsylvania, but those of us born and raised here can hear it once in while. It may seem disgusting to be digging through a dumpster. But! All the wasted products! A friend of mine worked at an ALCO store in my home town years ago. Many of the tvs, dvd players, vhs players, and remotes were thrown away at the end of a 2 month period. Still working perfectly fine.
How do u know when to go check dumpster? Or is it just a daily thing?

Im a penny shopper and I agree! They say they send it back but they don’t I seen an employee bag up items in a trash back
I know a DG store manager that don’t pull the items to send back. She did in the beginning, but the trucks would not take it back. It clogged up the back room. So she stopped pulling . She lets penny shoppers get it. She says she doesn’t have the time nor man power to do it.

That taking stuff from a dumpster is illegal just like putting your trash in someone else's dumpster.
Ya for sure family working in that one cause there's a whole bunch of stuff that I know for sure that they don't D100 and throw out ..
Because I worked in a Dollar store and they do not throw out stuff in amounts like that or ever throw away or D100 most of that stuff and if they did the would have repacked all that and put it on the truck the next time it delivers and they would have taken it back to the distribution center for that district..

What a great haul! Just wash the soap off the packages in that one bag and it'll be like new... One thing I wish y'all would do is at least tell people the expiration dates on the food items 🤷🏻

I used to dumpster dive one store that had the clumbsiest workers. I have no other explanation for it. So one day while riding my bike by their dumpster i saw they were getting a delivery. I stopped to watch and several times in the few minutes i watched i saw the employees cause several boxes of items to fall. Not on purpose. The next day i found unopened boxes in the dumpster and checked them out. A box of head and shoulders shampoo that had been dropped was leaking but only two of the bottles in the whole box were busted open. The rest were fine. A box of meat marinade in glass bottles that was also dropped and leaking had six bottles left intact. A big box that sounded like stuff was broken in it turned out to be a set of dishes with some cups and a few saucers broken but the rest were fine. I got kids and i constantly needed plates to replace the ones broken. A few 12 packs of sodas had been dropped and leaked but most were fine or only slightly dented. A lot of stuff was pitched out just before its best by date. And i have even found full boxes of food (unopened) that were nowhere near their best by date. Whole trash bags of expired bags of chips that were still good. And when the seasons changed all the clothes from the previous season were thrown away which helped a lot when the kids had to go back to school. Very helpful since my husband thought $100 was enough money to get our three kids clothes for school. $100 for all of them together, not $100 a piece. He didnt like turning loose of his money.
That store i really liked to shop at. The dumpster wasnt bad either. But they closed down after awhile. I miss them. It was the only local place that sold blackberry jelly that was very tasty. I cant find it at any other local store.
