no disrespect meant. 6's are for practice and stupid fun. I practice to get reps in for challenging something if my back is to the wall. I'd never head on chall a super if it mattered in a 40minute trails card; id take the opportunity to run, etc.

Ophidian's + Coyote for double decoy dodges and still high handling is my baby right now.
I hope they give us more grenade and melee options soon. I really want to use the lightweight knives on prismatic since they got buffed and the double charges will help offset the absence of knock em down a bit
Im loving Liars on the class item. Feels like the BIS for that column for my neutral playstyle.

I luckily got Dragon/Coyote (THE SIXTH DRAGON) and it feels oh so good. The reload speed is also racked up along w Handling. Hoping for an Ophidian/Coyote soon for passive Handling.

With the right timing, yes. Also, you can grapple onto smoke bombs

Depends on play style, I have the one you have and it is amazing with grapple hunter. The woven mail helps me out in fights a lot

I want one with ophidians and coyote so bad. Thought I was done once I got ophidians wormhusk, but I agree that the wormhusk healing just isn't good enough to use over a second dodge. I recently got a nice enyo d with hammer forged, accurized, fragile focus, and mkc (no range mw sadly only stability) and with fragile focus being buffed so it only goes away once your shield is broken, it's hitting shayura ranges and beating max roll tempests and even well rolled shayura adepts at range. I'm loving it with ophidians, cause I can use dex mods and quick access sling to get my swaps with either a special GL or fighting lion off very fast. I'm just hoping I can snag either ophidians coyote or maybe dragons coyote.
i really think spirit of the dragon and spirit of coyote would be great in pvp with threaded spectre and winters shroud.

Wormhusk, liars, and sixth coyote are gonna be what I try for my pvp roll, I'm actually really liking liars atm just to win every punching fight and get health regen off that one fragment to get back into the fight quickly

Try it out on silence and squall, it'll make it do actually okay damage and give back like 50% of it so you can spam them to get huge CC

I got the same roll. The dark supers are the move. S&S is a nice fire and forget, but ive had pretty good success with silkstrike believe it or not. Really high total damage and you can just let it rip for crowd clear and get a decent chunk back

before launch when they told us all the perks I literally set this aside as a roll to farm. When it dropped, I instantly masterworked and artificed it.

Much as prismatic is amazing for pve and fun in general, I think that running a specific subclass in crucible, or at least threes will still be the play. Besides the easier routes for certain abilities, for me personally it’s with the hunter class, as I often use the roaming melee super over tether for void. This is a small thing but, tether has less utility, the arc super, while fun can be jumped over or you can get sniped out of the anim, strand super has great mobility, but lacks health, goldy lasts 10s and has negligible armor, lastly silence and squall is… meh. Will still farm some ophidian roles though because swapping fast and having that edge in neutral game will be quite fun. Amazing clips as always btw :D
Your making great points about hunter and I feel the same, unfortunately it falls on deaf ears cause it’s talk about a hunter. To the community you might as well be talking about patient zero cause everyone thinks we’re broken yet if they play with a hunter they can’t understand why it feels so underwhelming. Cause it is, titans and warlocks are lucky bungie doesn’t hate them cause someone at bungie damn sure hates us! Prismatic on hunter is glorified one two punch hunter nothing else smfh

variety. Eye of Sol on paper is the best snipe. Ophidian creates 100 handling snapshot highest aim assist. If i wasn't a content creator, my succession kill count would be unholy.

Honestly the exotics that only have one purpose got the worst Spirit.
(Wormhusk _only_ heals on dodge. So the spirit had to be a weaker heal.
While ophidian had reload speed, handling, and melee lunge. So bungie just removed the lunge and reload. Keeping the handling the same stat. Or very close to the original)

I keep watching you dodge and that health bump looks bad! How you take half of a half?😂 wormhusk was already a shell of its old self and you cut that in half. Then they put spirit of ophidian and dragon shadow cause we needed more redundancy in the perk pool. I feel shafted and if you main hunter you should too.

I believe Cammy prefers the lunas due to the cylinder being smaller and thus having more vision, and drop mag giving fast reloads.

Luna's has more stability, stability = anti-flinch. And with range dropoff being standardized, higher range isn't as significantly beneficial compared to stability.
There is another bug where blinking takes you out of invis
not a bug, there have been ways to get invis on blink for ages (cowl/invis finisher on voidlock) and blinking has always taken you out of invis. Probably a balancing thing

Always has been, strand needs to be gutted.
Dying to people because of abilities has been obnoxious for years especially when next round that they don't have a combo they just walk out and die instantly.
They’ve always been a problem, it’s just historically it takes hunters 3x as long to get balanced than other classes
@fotis3v480 like have people really gotten so bad at winning a gun fight they need radar manipulation, another form of damage, and a free out to reset the fight but not really because if I try to push I detonate the clone. The counter play is back off and give the enemy the better position because they hit one button. Just kill the ability already.
Hunters are so insane rn, the amount of abilities and shi you have going for you is crazy
They’re not as bad as they were in my experience (I don’t face many strand hunters, and when i do they’re usually running double grapple and slam) but also people miss it’s a space fantasy shooter? Not a balanced competitive environment.
This made me upset that after 30+ rolls I only have one ophidian and it dropped with verity 😡

tbh i don’t see it the ophidians is for sure amazing but wormhusk doesn’t really do anything for you 10 extra health is really nothing crazy even in the video like he’s mainly showcasing his sever build w prismatic the cloak isn’t really doing that much it would prolly still be better to use a dedicated exotic like stomps frostees or jesters or something i def think the cloak is very strong in pve tho (although it has tough competition with still hunt celestial)

I solo so I haven't really found a reason to lfg for this, they all seem lack luster cause they literally are worse version of 2 good exotics mashed together. the build crafting in this game really hums when you focus your efforts in one direction it falls apart when try to do too many things.
Yeah, this is exactly why prismatic titan is underperforming. It tries to do too many things and doesn't do any of them well.

I agree, I'd rather have one great performing exotic than 2 lackluster ones, plus your forced into using prismatic. I hate when Bungie tries forcing their playstyle on me. So I too see no reason to grind these. Plus they're butt ugly and cant take legendary ornaments.

I liked that "lobby balanced" cope. Choosing to abandon your teammates to fight 1v2s and 1v3s isn't the lobby "balancing" you, it's you deciding you're too good to stick with your team. With that out of the way, the heal being even lower than Wormhusk's heal is unfortunate. I'd have preferred they gave Wormhusk some additional boost to choose it over the Cloak version rather than giving the Cloak version a pathetic amount of healing.
Guess I'm going for Coyote over Wormhusk. Oh well.
Sometimes I get matches with below a 15% chance of winning. If someone doesnt push up, we lose zones and power ammo and map control which lead to inevitable loss. The win and loss isn't important to me, but being able to create an environment for engaging game play is. Being spawn trapped because of my teammate's skill or mistakes is not engaging.
To prevent this, you need hard meta that matches a winning playstyle, and to make the objective correct decision knowing your teammate's will likely not do something helpful. Perfect play is a neccessity in those type of matches to prevent the mercy, let alone winning.
That being said, I'm not always willing to run hard meta and play to win, because casual is for practice and fun. How else are you supposed to learn all interactions in the game if you brute force win before you can experience them? Secondarily, if I make a premade fireteam with intent to win, the opponent's usually quit and we're stuck looking at the queue screen for 90% of the play session or more.

I have many years of competitive gaming and competitive sports under my belt and while I don't have the time to dedicate the hours needed to play shooters at the "highest level" anymore, a team of 5 with average skill but a poor plan might succeed more often if their strong player was actively backing them up instead of moving out to "create openings" that the team will never take advantage of.
You can't complain that you feel like you're having to fight entire teams solo while also complaining that playing to win isn't engaging enough. Putting yourself in a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation only grows the frustration in a game that's already stuffed to the gills with frustration via Bungie's influences.
Sure, your stats might be "less impressive" and you won't have all those sick 1v3 plays to showcase in a video as often, but you could just find yourself less frustrated with the game by cutting out the self-inflicted damage you currently insist is a necessity.

I'll work on presenting those ideas better. SBBM creates punishment and pity matches give a range of experiences. I like to note what gets results in punishment matches.
Obv I'm not talking about every match because the mm algo gives me pity matches too. But for the punishment matches, you need to bring a solo artillery to stand a chance. I'm sure you've experienced those matches. You should post your gameplay on how you navigate those 15% chance of winning type matches.
Sometimes I just take the loss in hopes that SBMM gets milder so I can run something weak. The practice is still valuable. I'm also a content creator that is somewhat forced to review things that I would otherwise not use, so I have to fish for situations that show the item's particular niche at the expense of the chance of winning.
