What a film!absolute classic! Best soundtrack ever✊️👊
One of the best rock-operas ever written and performed. McVicar is my personal favorite album of all time, Just so good. Roger out-did himself for our benefit, Thank you 35 years later Roger. I love you. Thank you for this and everything with the WHO. You defined my childhood and adulthood with your music. Again, thank you.
Still at this was made in the 1980 still in 2020 a mint tune
Daltrey. What a voice. Great ablum, movie. I wonder if people even can get this feeling up these days.
Great song and a great movie and it got me through a tough time .
Great tune, got me through a tough year inside in 96-97. Lots of X cons loved this one.
Waylander used to sing it to my pad mate. He was to young. Lol.
Yea, my ole man knew John Mc Vicar, I myself followed that path, 10 plus years inside!
when i was in HMP Wayland my cell mate would play this song and the other Mcvicar songs over and over and over again on his cassette. That film and those songs effected the way he did his time, he thought he was in the film, he was crazy, fighting all the time, we ended up on the punishment block together and we got shipped off together to HMP Blundestone, aka Plunge erstone. On the prison van he got the guard to play the cassette, i remember rollimg over the flat East Anglian landscape with these songs lol he made my time in jail very surreal. Life immitating art. Mad
I listened to this in the late 90s while doing 3 1/2 years really got me motivated to get my positive head on and get my life sorted
one of the best films of all time . this is one of the first films i had on video and i still have it on vhs tape and in mint condition . nice
Don't plead no special case for me
Because there ain't no way I'll get my liberty
I'm back inside, I've been betrayed
Now I know this is the greatest robbery
Night after night
I lie awake and watch the morning break
Night after night
I get the feeling that, there's no way back
Don't think you'll see me here again
You better find another man to take the blame
Oooh, Oooh Oooh, It's getting late
I better sweat it out and get myself in shape
Time after time
Only a fool makes the same mistake
Time after time
And every day I thought, I won't get caught
Oooh, Oooh Oooh, It's getting late
I better sweat it out and get myself in shape
Night after night
I lie awake and watch the morning break
Night after night
I get the feeling that, there's no way back
Quality track got me through some dark times

I was 15 years old (yes, I'm that old) when this movie came out. Was always a big fan of The Who and music like this will never leave my life. I'm glad I had the privilege of seeing them live in concern just once. Over the years and in my opinion, I have witnessed true, talented artists and music decline but I'm forever grateful that I grew up during a time when music was actually great.
