‘Only You’ by Peter Hickman (Missing the Panda) (New Demo With Lyrics: 2024).

DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT A SINGER AND DO NOT PROCLAIM TO BE. I AM SIMPLY A POET AND A SONGWRITER WHO HAS DONE HIS BEST WITH WHAT HE HAS BEEN GIVEN.
As a massive fan of The Beatles, I decided to set myself a challenge, or task, of trying to write a song reminiscent of one of their earlier works; ‘Only You’, although nowhere near their standard, is, therefore, what I managed to come up with.
This track is made up entirely of (basic) guitar (rhythm/lead/bass) and drums. I have, however, tried to accent the piece according to what, I believe, is reflective of their early 1960’s pomp.
