Makes sense (and well done to Northumbria Police for their route planning). I saw a similar video with Sunderland fans who get to walk down this street with the home fans on either side baiting the away fans. Luckily, this and that one with the Mackems just involved a bit of squaring up and people capturing something on camera. Later scrotes from both sides will pretend they battered the opposition. In reality, nothing happened and nobody got injured so I'd say it's a good result.
