    After they said where the seat and engine goes, I just think of Max D having a engine in the front and the seat on the left, I'm now think Max D found a loophole somehow.

    • @andylasceski
      @andylasceski Před rokem

      Yeah they only said that stuff because that's where the majority of drivers have their seats and motors. The Meents and William chassis and are very similar to each other and both have a front whine and left side seat. Most drivers have gone away from that because being centered in the truck helps them feel the center of gravity better and the rear engine helps with weight distribution. But the chassis style that worked for both Tom Meents and Neil Elliott for so long was the front engine and left side seat. So moral of the story is, just stick with what works

  • @deezrcz

    Cool video but there’s a lot of misinformation. First off the tires do not cost $4,000 each, more like $1,200. Also the trucks weigh closer to 12,000 lbs. Next, it definitely costs more to build than $150,000. Maybe this number is adjusted for inflation but it’s closer to $250,000 to build one today. Lastly I’m shocked the axles were not mentioned at all. The giant axles and planetary wheel hubs is what makes a monster truck. Each wheel hub has a 3:1 gear reduction to turn those massive tires. The transfer case also has a gear reduction. I just wanted to inform the viewers of these things.

      standard trucks are about 12000 pounds
      the 10000 is either not counting the wheels or it's just not really a standard truck
      I mean the trucks they show in the video don't look very standard
      extremely tall and just ridiculous proportions
