Hi there! I’m an assistant distiller here at Peach Street and just like our head distiller I want to say thanks for the review and we hope you get to try more of our spirits! Personally, the Smoked Rye, and Wine Finished Bourbon are tied for my favorite.
I love Peach Street Distillers! I tired their basic Bourbon and it is awesome. I have tried the 5 year once, and it was great. Colorado is coming in strong!!
I am so very much here for the random conversational tangents. Tell us more about everything! Also, Daniel's Abbott & Costello reference has me digging around in my VHS collection to find a tape of some of their routines that I *must* watch now.
I forgot where I found it, probably Napster, but I have a copy of Abbot and Costello’s whole radio show (complete with commercials) where they premiered “Whose on First.” I still roar when I hear it.

Please do more Colorado whiskey. Of course you can get high quality whiskey from other locations for probably less, but you won't get the interesting point of view that exists here in Colorado. Thanks for the recognition.

Peach street offers some of the weirdest options for small distillers around with lots of Eau de Vie, brandy’s etc. They make a 10yr Bourbon on limited release that is to be dynamite. My wife loves their peach infused bourbon (aged 3yr then put in their Peach brandy barrels w dried palisades peaches) & I think, after trying LOADS of Scottish & American single malts that their 8 year old single malt is at least in the my top 5 of all time & the best peated American single malt I’ve ever had. If you like peated single malts it is a MUST TRY!
I agree. Leopold 4, boulder spirits bib, rootshoot by boulder spirits. Family jones RYE you have to try it Very good. Laws too. Molly brown rye. Many good ones When ER10 sucked, even a store pick. I knew i had to stay local. I'm in a huge rabbit hole.

Until fairly recently, I had become somewhat bored with bourbon and was paying more attention to Scotch, rye, and rum. Small distilleries in unlikely places have revitalized the category for me, as they have provided the stylistic variety that I crave. I haven't had the one in this review, but it sounds good. If I ever encounter it, I'll give it a try. Unfortunately, I don't have any plans to go to Colorado any time soon. When/if I do, I'll figure out where the distilleries are and visit as many as possible. I would also like to check out the wine region near Grand Junction. I've been there before, but it's been a long time.
Currently, I have eight bottles of bourbon/Tennessee whiskey in my collection. This may not seem like much, but I like all kinds of spirits, so I don't have a huge amount of space for any one category. Only one is from Kentucky, but I have three from Tennessee, which is close. Of the remaining four, two are from California, one is from Texas, and one is sourced from Wyoming and bottled in California. It's a good mix of traditional and new. I am considering increasing the space reserved for bourbon to ten bottles. If I do, I'll likely split the difference and get one traditional Kentucky bourbon and one from a craft distillery. I'll have to check out more of the distilleries in my area and see if one has a bourbon that appeals to me.

Looked up multiple clips of Hey You Guys and he says it in the 2 instances I found. Unless those are somehow edited, he definitely says 'you' each time.

I think he mentioned several episodes ago that he had some sort of accident or fall where he injured his arm but didn’t go into details. Maybe he didn’t feel the details where appropriate for the a Whiskey Vault vid and he chose to explain it elsewhere such as on social media (I don’t follow him outside of YT so I don’t know.).

I was on an important shoot like 30 years ago, and my Nikon lost flash/shutter sync, so all my shots came out half fine, half dark. Total fail. Of course, you didn't know until you got the transparencies processed.
That's why I love today's tech, and can review immediately to see if anything when wrong.
(Not hitting the record button is a whole different kind of failure, though, lol...)

Been watching you for a long time and have a question. I find myself drawn to Isla whiskeys because the strong flavors cover the alcohol burn where I can enjoy the drink. So far I love the campfire taste of ardbeg 5 but it has something spikey I don't care for. Some whiskeys I really like are Laphroaig 10 and whistlepig 10 and several others that have stronger flavors. Want to try octomore but can't find it in Georgia so can you guide me to something with the strong darker flavors and still has that strong campfire taste with it. Would be awesome to have a whiskey I love.

For me ASMR is not about the tingles per say, but with my ADHD it helps quiet my mind. But it is only some videos and voices that work, none of the eating and lip smacking stuff, that drives me insane. But I put on a video and listen with ear buds when I want to goto sleep and the part of my mind that is always running is busy listening. ANd I drift off to sleep much easier. And I don't wake up for every noise that way.
