I love the way you did the tbr jar by putting in prompts instead of books, so you can choose your options! I think it makes it more fun and less like a chore
I'm so excited for you to read Addie LaRue. Personally, it's a book that got me back into reading. People say it's slow paced and I agree, but since you often are juggling many books at once I hope it works out in your favor :) since you like listening to ambient music while reading, for this book specifically I really recommend dark academic playlists on yt. It's such a vibe!
Ooh thanks for the tips!! I feel like I can definitely enjoy a slower paced books so hopefully I like it!
@@RachelCatherine I 100% agree with @Elaine.
I hope you thoroughly enjoy this book! It was recommended to me by my local library. And it may be my favorite read from last year! Definitely slow paced, but I so enjoyed the concept of the book. I'm already looking forward to your thoughts on this book.
I also love that cover. I prefer paperbacks to hardcovers. Is that the UK version?
I did not really like this book I apologize for the unpopular opinion/
i think this was a sign to start a deadoy education because I was looking at it earlier so I'm starting it while watching this
Addie LaRue is phenomenal! You will love V.E. Schwab’s writing ❤
I listened to the audiobook for addie larue and really enjoyed it 🤍
Ahh the tbr jar prompts are such a fun way to pick books!! I need to make one ASAP! 😄📚✨
Loved Addie LaRue! And Every Summer After too!
So excited for you to read These Violent Delights!! The second book is a favourite! :)
Ahhh, I love the TBR jar! It's makes picking out what to read next so much fun!!
I adore this!! This is one of the videos that I look forward to every month!! Love you Rachel!! 💕💕
I only started a TBR jar this month thanks to you (video coming out Thursday) i had so much fun using it i cant wait for May already so i can do it again
I am super excited for you to read Open Water, I’ve read that in one day and this was sooo beautiful and the writing is so incredibly good… this is definitely something different and not for everyone. Enjoy that girl!
I'm so glad YT recommended your video to me! TBR jar is such a great idea! I've started to read again after too many years of reading slump and I somehow collected 14 new books during last few weeks. Ooops 😅 I might give TRB jar a try, seems like a cool idea :D
I AM SO EXCITED i was so hoping you would read addie larue i am so looking forward to hearing your thoughts
Love these videos! ❤️
I LOVE your aesthetic!
This was so fun!

OMG I read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue this month and I really loved it. I had it (on my kindle) forever, and did exactly what you did and just said, this is the month. It did not disappoint.
this was a quick and fun video and i enjoyed watching
What a great video! I love these picks! Do you put the prompts back in the jar or make new ones each time? ❤
Saturday mornings are complete with your vlogs❤
Awwww, I'm so glad you chose A deadly education, The Scholomance is literally my favorite series I've read in years, I really hope you enjoy it as well 😊😊
"Open Water is a beautiful story❤
Addie LaRue is awesome!! Absolutely loved it. Do you have a list of your prompts somewhere? I love them and want to do something similar.
FINALLY ADDIEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! Ive been waiting for this one!!! Now fingers crossed you’ll love it as much as I did hahaha
This video made my day!
Love these videos! I made a TBR jar because of you and then i knocked it off of my bookshelf last night and it broke 🤣
Hi! I’m quite new to your channel, loved the video! (And the bible quote you included at the start🥺 thank you for the lovely reminder ❤)
Welcome to our little family!! 🥹🫶🏼
I read Every Summer After back in February and enjoyed it! I hope you like it as well
i'm so excited to see what you think of the books!
Eeep I’m excited to read them all!!
Loved this!!! Where did you find your tbr prompts?
you’ll love every summer after!
Hey😄! Your dress is sooooo cute☺💞. I enjoy your videos a lot😊
Every summer after 😍😍👏🏻👏🏻
Excellent video!😸
You are adorable!! I understand being mood reader. I dare not get a cart my husband would have a conniption. I just finished Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and on page 200 of It Ends With Us.
My thoughts on the books in this TBR
The Invisible Life Of Addie Larue & These Violent Delights 2.5-3 stars
A Deadly Education I have given this whole trilogy 4 stars. Thanks for the recommendation Rachel!
Alone With You In The Ether 3 Stars
I am adding To Kill A Kingdom to my TBR.
I used this video to pick out a tbr (I don’t normally do tbrs, I just pick a book up. I ended up with
Archers Voice
Unravel Me
A Good Girls Guide to Murder (I don’t do tbrs, but I was planning on reading that next, so I just went with it)
Anna and the French Kiss
History is All You Left Me
And Marley and Me
I can’t do the last two because I don’t have Instagram or kindle unlimited. I’ll start reading Unravel me after I finish my current read which is Looking for Alaska. I’m excited!
I think I'm gonna try a tbr this month but I'm such a mood reader so it probably won't go very well lol
Hi Rachel happy Monday night and I hope you having amazing day today and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
Also, your dress is the cutest!! X
Thank you!! 🥹
AAAAAAAAA I've been waiting for this!!!! Gonna make my day when it's already 8:53PM 😭❤
Good luck with your reading your amazing books 📚 for your April tbr list please stay safe and enjoy your reading 📖 love your amazing channel love your Aussie family friend John ❤❤❤
I started a TBR jar this month after watching your videos and it’s been so fun
EDIT: omg you chose A Deadly Education. It’s one of my favourite series ever. Word of warning, the beginning is quite dense and has a lot of infodumping. You’re in the MC’s head a lot. But honestly once I got immersed into the world, rereading the first book, I did not feel like it was dense anymore.
You’re also correct, I just finished Ninth House and it was similar enough to A Deadly Education for me to appreciate but not similar enough for me to start comparing.
Funnily, I am deciding on whether to read The Atlas Six or not because a lot of people said it’s similar to A Deadly Education.
Oooh okay thank you for the info!! I’m really excited 🤭
I haven't read Deadly Education, but I have read Atlas Six and Ninth House. They're a little bit similar in terms of atmosphere, but I think Atlas Six leaves a lot of information about the library to be fleshed out later in the trilogy, which I know annoyed people who thought it'd be more focused on the setting.
@@AllisonJones1875 I have a copy of the Atlas Six ready on my shelf but I’ve been worried it wouldn’t give me the feeling A Deadly Education did. But if you say it’s similar to Ninth House as well, I must give it a try. And thanks for the heads up, then I’ll know not to expect information about the library in the first book.
@@hillisawesome I hope you enjoy it!
I'm so glad you love The Scholomance, it's so rare I see people say they also enjoyed it 😊😊❤
i can’t wait to hear what your thoughts are on a deadly education.. i’ve been putting it off for so long. i purchased it in a blind date with a book. maybe i’ll read it this month too
If you like the grumpy sunshine dynamic, I'd say there is a good chance of you enjoying it! The girl is the grump and the boy is the sunshiney character, though he's not the most optimistic person 😅😅
can't wait to see what you think of addie larue!
A deadly education sounds sooooo interesting
Target and Big W both have these violent delights 😊 (mostly just commenting to boost engagement on your video) ❤
oh thank you so much for commenting 🥹 I truly appreciate it!!
Ninth House has a snake on the cover! :)
If you’re into romance right now you should definitely pick up Nora Goes Off Script & The Roughest Draft if you haven’t already read them! Both are really great standalone romances! ❤️
I think I remember The Miles High Club series being on your TBR cart - did I miss you reading the series?!
Ahh where’s that dress from? It’s super cute!
Do you re-use prompts in the jar? Like, did you write multiple of the same prompts? I want to start a jar and use prompts instead of titles, because I feel like that'll work better for me, considering I'm a mood reader too!!
I was a voter in your tbr….. stunning ❤
on the ball 👏🏼
What are we going to do after tonight.. survivor will be over 🥹
Is To Kill A Kingdom a retelling of Little Mermaid? I am on Fairytale retelling kick right now.❤
Just to let you know, I've heard Alone with you in the ether is a love story, not a romance, so idk if it has a happy ending or not 😅😅
You’re going to need to buy some books soon!
