Very lucky those who skate in such beautiful arena and have suck fantastic coaches!! I skate in the US on a horrible ice, horrible looking rink, pot-holes at the entrance to the building, it’s hot inside, Zamboni is super-old, ice is full of rots from hockey skaters and the ice is dangerous for figure-skaters. The new owners (Polar Ice) don’t care about making it better at all!!!

It’s always amazing to me how Figure skaters will brave terrible conditions to do what they love. Old Lee Valley used to have earwig bugs falling from the ceiling…new building is so much better. We are very lucky
