How to make Texapon at home .
This product is my home made product for making laundry and washing liquid soap.
The ingredients are:
Very hot water 80% (Note: On video, I wrote 18% . that was my mistake) .
Sodium sulfate 7.5%
SLS 12.4%
Multiply by 1000 :
Very hot water 800ml
Sodium Sulfate 75g
SLS 124g
You may know how to it by yourself at home if you watch this video through the end.
It very easy to make it.

From my understanding Texapon is Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate or Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES)... and what you have just made is similar texture to SLES but it is not SLES... SLES is made of SLS, which you have used but it has to undergo ethoxylation process (application of ethylene oxide, which is a high air pollutant). Therefore, we cannot make a homemade Texapon. I believe what you did is SLS thickened by Sodium Sulfate, which has lesser yield than using SLES because you can no longer thicken a solution with Sodium Chloride if you add more water as using with SLES...

You have not ethoxylated anything, so haven’t made Texapon.
