All these videos on CZcams and no one address the elephant in the room, What are the new challenges involved in trying to get in and out? is it to get in and out. is it all dependent on the individual and their size and physical abilities, C8’s are already a challenge. Most people that are buying C8 are not all young and dumb and full of ••• But might still like to have these doors

Really really cool! BUT, i just have to question its reliability long term? The downwards action might be an issue if there is no "braking" mechanism to slow the door down when closing! In other words, the doors are too heavy since they weren't intended to work as lambo doors! I hope that makes sense.
Hi , thank you . It has a shock similiar to your trunk and hood on your C8 . The oldest job on a c8 we have done is 2 years old working fine. The oldest job we have done using this kit on a c7 was 7 years ago (you can see video we did on our history) . Those are also working fine . You’re more than welcome to come test it out in person .

This should be a required mod because those doors are way too big for any parking space.

Sorry, they look real cool but I would never do it to my car. What happens if you don't pull down fully outward before lifting upward?
Hi , The kit has a guide that won't let the door go up until it's all the way out. It prevents the fender or door panel from getting damaged.

Does the rise and close electrically (with a little assistance) those doors are extremely heavy. I have a 2022. I joined the gym to be able to close the doors. I love my car!!
Hi , they have a gas strut . After pushing up a little bit they go up similar to a hood or trunk .

Long term usage is required to see the strength of the joint. If this was so easy to manipulate why isn’t GM ordering b this as an option? Great work but need do see if it’s compromised over time.
