    Man, I really like the quality over quantity approach you've got going on with this. I'd always prefer to see guys using a better duty holster, but I love your concept.

    Food for thought.... sometimes you need two sets of cuffs to arrest one person.

    Some changes / addiction. Get a level 3 holster I prefer safariland holsters but black hawk makes a good one you want one with a good retention. A glove pouch for neoprene gloves.

    Why do you carry your mags on your strong side? Don't you reload with your left hand?

      @jaydub6268  Před 7 lety +8

      raphael beinhauer I do reload with my left. I had everything off prior to the video and quick threw it on for the video. I didn't notice at the time I put it on the wrong side. Good catch! Thanks for watching!

    nice setup sir I'm a PPO I don't know if you're standing for Duty or sitting but one piece of advice I got was don't put anything on your spine. if you move your cuffs slightly off-center in might feel a little more comfortable if you're sitting be careful out there

    Your are a good CZcamsr. And I have 2 scribers

  • @TallMichelleWithTheLongHair

    Yeah you might need the chain cuffs or even may need to link both sets together if you have to handcuff a large suspect. I carry 1 pair of linked and 1 pair of hinged.
    Also please try to get a better holster.
    You can find actual Sam Browne duty belts on Amazon for very reasonable prices.
    You did not show your body armour. What kind did you buy? Do you like it? Comfortable? Do you have both soft and heavy plates or just soft?

    • @jaydub6268
      @jaydub6268  Před 6 lety +1

      Michelle The Security Guard Thanks, I should do an update video because my setup is much different now. I’m a cop now so I have a level 3 Blackhawk holster, two cuffs (one chain, one hinge) a sure fire light with holster, black hawk belt, hard plastic mag pouches that mags slide into, and soft, under the shirt body armor with trauma plate in front (Gulls), Still no Taser ☹️. At the time of this video I was an armored truck courier and ATM filler, I had a plate carrier with hard, ceramic plates (Not comfortable).
      Sounds like your squared away!

    Got a new subscriber. I've been thinking about this jewelry store armed guard job. Let's me negotiate what my pay is going to be. As long as it's decently above minimum wage I'm good. I will always refuse armed minimum wage jobs unless I was homeless or something. But that's the way I see it. Property managers shouldn't be searching for armed guards and higher level security if they aren't willing to dish out the coin. They may as well stay stuck with unarmed guards with those puke yellow t shirts. haha Anyways, nice video! Thanks for sharing.

      Around here no armed guard makes less than 11.00 an hour. I just left an armed job paying 11 an hour to do an unarmed mall security job paying 12.50 an hour I just hope im happy when I start the new job nextweek and don't feel sick im without a gun

    • @superiordefenderxii7072
      @superiordefenderxii7072 Před 7 lety

      Yes, and it does truly depend on the type of unarmed security so I agree with you. I've notice big hotels make more money guarding than armed guards for small offices. But overall, armed guards usually get paid more because it's classified as a special service in any company. From my business security studies, they taught me that in private security there is a hierarchy. Level 1 guards are unarmed and usually not as well trained, primarily used for deterring crime through visual presence and communications with law enforcement. Level 2 guards are armed, have much more licensing and training, usually have higher education levels, and are overall more to hire. Level 3 are executive protection specialists, top of line most highly trained security operatives. Trained in a range of weapons from tasers, pistols, smg's, rifles, and crowd scanning for threats. Training usually takes anywhere from 7 days to an average of 15 days. In my region the bodyguard academy is 15 days long to cover everything about protecting. And level 4 are private investigators, separate from field operatives, they are classified as the special forces of the private security sector.

      Why so angry ?
      Everyone has arrest powers if they witness a crime in progress, most people are just too scared to do anything about it.
      Most of the weapons security carry is for their self defense, you don’t need to be a cop to defend yourself.
      Lastly, this is an old video, I am a cop now and still have respect for security officers because they are given lots of responsibility and little authority.
      May I suggest deep breathing exercises.

    • @jessesr3680
      @jessesr3680 Před 6 lety

      I'll do those deep breathing exercises though, Hope your department can furnish you some non-lethals soon.
      Just judging by your wording, poor knowledge of the law, and most recent video....I'm going to report your latest video and this one....I'd hope you're not lieing about being a police officer...
      It's not "arrest powers".....it's a "citizens arrest"...Arrest powers are something given to law enforcement once successful completion of a certified law enforcement academy, and being a active peace officer.

      Jason Vorhees your*, you*. Also more educated, better paid, have a wife and three kids, compared to your drop out General diploma working part time security at McDonald’s. Watch out, that kid might be trying to steal a Big Mac! Let’s be honest here, I’m the guy who will be successful in life, watch my kids turn into adults and grandchildren grow, and live a respectable, comfortable life. Where as your the type of guy who may be found at the age of 40 in the same rut as you were 20 years before, no career, and no one to care. Sorry for you lad.

    • @jessesr3680
      @jessesr3680 Před 6 lety

      Jason Vorhees Just judging simply on your responses, I’m going to assume you are quite young, and far to immature to be conversing with me. I mean what adult says “take that fantasy and poop it out”? I’m not going to participate in an argument with a 12 year old any further than what has happened. Enjoy your childhood lad, stay in school.

      P.S. a peacekeeper is a police officer most likely you did not know that. . .
