The intro to possibly my single favorite episode of B5, certainly in the top 5. John's spiral down into madness throughout this show, and his horrifying confrontation with the unbearable truth, is probably the single finest psychodrama I've ever seen. It's such a pity that so many people will see that this show is about spaceships and aliens, and they'll instantly dismiss the powerful human stories and moral lessons within it.
THIS was the moment Vir came into his own character, whereas before he was simply Londo's whipping boy. Now he stands on his own and we now see WHY he will become Emperor once the madness ends.
