- A proper rip around the Santa Monicas fun gravel roads and singletrack. As with all these rides you have gotta get down one way or another, and there's nothing like a Trailer descent and then finishing at the beach.
Thanks to JULIEN for the follow film!

Respect to Julien for keeping that camera close and pointed in the right direction
What camera is he using?
Much respect to the camera guy for holding that same pace while on a MTB.
Drone footage is a great addition!
I'm pretty sure he was flying a drone in Topanga state park and MRCA conservation lands, which is illegal.
That jump on the descent was mental. Going 45 mph into gravel lol. Sick clip
This is the reason I'm selling my roadbike and got myself a Scott Addict Gravel. Great stuff. Keep it up man, keep it up!!
I guess these videos sell bikes. ...then, that's kind of the idea, isn't it?
@@vincecolorito4214 as long as you are on a bike, no matter if its mtb, second hand, granny bike or whatever. Go out and ride!
So great see all my old routes documented in such great style on your channel. I moved to Tennessee last year and miss my epic trails and roads of the Santa Monica mountains. I’m thrilled to have found your channel. Cheers!
straight out of the super tuck, bunny hopping a curb onto gravel at 45 mph hahahahaha you're a madman ❤
Safa!! Your best videos are the gravel bike videos!! Sooo fuc******* awesome!! 🚴🏾♂️🌪🔥
these paths are incredible, honestly I could watch for hours!
Thanks Safa and Julien for this one. These rides make me smile every time. I'm thinking you need to start a series where you travel the world doing these rides, Greece, Spain, Italy....you get the idea. Keep doing what you're doing and thank you for all the efforts you put into it.
Just got my Addict 30 thanks to you. Absolutely love the bike.
Nice one, Brian - and great riding by Julian!
Another nice one! I especially liked the speed run to the beach at the end. 👍
30:27 - I wanna be cool enough to have friendly foes too! 😭
Thank you for an Awesome ride Safa that was Amazing
Love your videos. Love you in front of the camera. Love the drone shots. Especially gravel. Love the infographic on the left. Heart Rate would be a nice addition, maybe instead of cadence, just my opinion. Keep up the great content!
Thank you! I have a HR monitor but never use it. Always forget to think about bringing it out for films but it would be cool to show.
When you have a SAFA notification you know is a good video 😎
Wow! Admittedly as a noob I would only do this kind of trail at those speeds for real if I was granted invincibility, but that was amazing stuff guys. Done shots were a nice touch too 👌
same lol and when he was like 'thats the end of the life or death stuff' it was the perfect description. In fact i probably wouldnt even hike that trail (the car crash section) because id be too worried about being run over by someone on a bike.
Got a canyon gravel bike because of you Brian! I hope someday I will ride like you do!
usually i watch yt videos at x1.5 speed, except yours, Safa. thanks for the dope meditative content)
p.s. because of you i bought my first bike last week
Belle riprese e grande gamba. Veramente ben fatto. Complimenti
I commented so much allready on ur videos, damn ur mexico video with barentsen, specially the one underlayed with the trapbeats and trippy colourvisuals, all ur decents or la-hills-videos, man, Imma allow myself to write this generalized comment here, but believe me, in ur case it's so damn well earnt, because u're on the top for me, such an individual style and skilltree, Imma bring it: WHAT A DAMN LEGEND.
Epic scenes .. nice production value
Bring back the unforgotten roads and gravel gods segments 🎉 wooooo
Shoutout to Julien. He's a really strong rider to be staying right on the wheel of a gravel bike while on a mtb.
wow no room for mistake or mishap on the single track trail! Be safe out there!
gravel tires on pavement and high speed - sweet jet engine taking off sound!
That single track is actually super easy and mundane, admittedly maybe not on a gravel bike 😅
Incredible 👏👏👏
Excellent dude, ride on. With hello.
Amazing stuff.
I feel like Julian is invincible when it comes to this stuff. 😂
This guy is fantastic!! I'm very impressed with you as a cyclist.
No words bro, this guy really forcing my hand on buying a bike.
“Who is it that provides a person with the obstacles he needs in order to experience his highest limits? His opponent, of course! Then is your opponent a friend or an enemy? He is a friend to the extent that he does his best to make things difficult for you. Only by playing the role of your enemy does he become your true friend. Only by competing with you does he in fact cooperate! ... In this use of competition it is the duty of your opponent to create the greatest possible difficulties for you, just as it is yours to try to create obstacles for him. Only by doing this do you give each other the opportunity to find out to what heights each can rise.” - The Inner Game of Tennis.
Thanks Safa!
Thank you for reminding me of this. I read it when I was 12 and it had a big impact on me as a tennis player and human in general. Seeing it again 35 years later hits different! ✌️
Brilliant 👍🏻
Great video bro!!!🤘
Awsome video🤟😎
Keep and safety and God bless.
You really have many great biking opportunities in your area.
İdolümsün safa!
Can't wait to ride now, only couple more days til I fly back to LA. I'm no where near this fitness level yet tho
Julien is a beast!
Always Putting Me On The EDGE OF MY SEAT.
Yeah with the pacific coast ☮
Wish I could ride with you someday. Hugs from Brazil!
just subbed, sick ride👍👍
ไม่กลัวหลุดโค้งเลย
Very experience in turn
Nice bro
Ripped it. 💪
Go go

At the top...
Thanks for the vids, they are always so beautiful. How does someone find roads like these to ride in their local area?

Oi Safa . . .👑
I feel like just got my workout in
Awesome ride as always 🙌
Something goes wrong with color correction in video.
“Pass him Julian!”
Eyy
Great vidéo Safa, as always. 😍
Why are you using different width tires front and rear? Thank you for your answer
I'm looking for more grip and a bit more 'suspension' on the front end. The rear will follow where the front goes.
Ok,
it's pretty cool as a technique and looks like what you can do on a mountain bike.
Thank you
normally people run a thinner tire out back. like a 2.6 up front and 2.5 in the back for mtb for instance.
So I take it that car crashed from the very top where Moholland road is? That must have hurt real bad~
The 43mph bunny hop at 37.30 🙈
Bro more gravel rides!
Ride cookies next 😏
Ive always wondered, why do these roads and trials exists? Where they created recently for hiking or what?
How does the drone do its thing? Does it fly and shoot itself?
I am no big biker, so I can safely say I would've shat myself just looking down the cliff side.
Will there be jaguars here?
thank you for the metric system. much more convenient.
wondering who is operating drone shots?

Этот парень едет в гору быстрее чем я по шоссе)))
yooo
37:20 Is Julian on an motorized mountain bike? 😂
كفو
Do you guys warm up prior to hitting these rides?
We rode up there for this one so yeah
@@SAFABrian thank you, safe riding!
WHERE IS THIS?
Are you really shooting this with a GoPro Hero 7 ? 🤔
Hey Safa, I’m curious, what’s your ethnic background?
카메라맨이 무게도 더무겁고 훨씬대단한거아니냐
So the trail is shared by pedestrians and cyclists, I see. I'd be way too worried about running into someone I can't see on a turn or corner.
then run a bell, they will move
