I love this whole "Press the Attack!" mechanic in FF16. That's the game's way of warning you that a massive attack is incoming, and you need to disrupt it at all costs, or risk instant defeat if you fail. Oddly enough, FF13 has a similar mechanic during the first Barthandelus fight at the end of Chapter 9. That boss has an attack called Destrudo, and you literally need to press the attack to disrupt it or risk your party leader getting instantly KO'd, which equals a Game Over in that game.
Teraflare was actually weirdly underwhelming. I thought that would hurt *much* more. Also, Ultimate Zantetsuken doesn't technically kill instantly, but it deals enough damage to be equal to around 100% of your HP overall, which can be healed through during the first through hits with a potion.
And now thanks to the DLCs, there are 2 new attacks that require you to press the attack: Omega Protocol and Tsunami. Both are instant game overs if you let them go off, but Tsunami is definitely the harder of the two to stop because you have no room for error.
Weirdly enough, this was EXACTLY the kind of video I was searching for! You even had the bonus Bahamut Gigaflare in there, too!
Me too
Score!

Hey do you have one for all boss "Grab" moves? Where they either do a special move or an air combo if you get caught?
An yes. Ultimate zantetsuken which Barnabas will invoke a samurai quick draw, slash you multiple times in one stroke and kill you in one hit.
He just went Vergil on you!
