- HI GUYS HOW YOU DOING, THOUGHT I'D BRING YOU 5 THINGS THAT I HATE ABOUT MY HONDA CIVIC EP2, WASN'T EASY AS I REALLY DO LIKE THIS CAR.

I have a USDM k20a2 6-speed swapped EP3. I love it! I completely agree that it has the turning radius of a shopping cart with no front wheels. I fixed the lack of of power by swapping it. This is an awesome car!
when would america be able to import the type rs from over here? recently got my ep3 type r back on the road and i agree the turning circle is soooooo bad my caddy van has a better turning circle lol
Pretty much everything has a better turning cirlce, unfortunately it didn't improve in VIII gen, I really wish it would be better. In Jazz mk II for example its great, so it is not "a Honda thing'; rather "a Civic thing". I wonder how it is in another generations of Civics.
You can actually roll the driver's seat. Pull the little thing on the side and it slides forward
Bro your A/C is on because your setting is to blow at the windshield! Top knob on the top setting. Try to change it to blow at your legs or your face? Also being on “auto setting “ that puts the A/C on
the wool glove for the knob is hilarious

I had to get my input shaft bearing fixed on mine.
Decided it was better to just replace all of the bearings whilst I was at it. £650 it costed.
Hoping it'll be sorted for life now.
as for #2 - get rid of the stickers, get rid of that extra bit on the spoiler, oh and you also don't have to straight-pipe it, that's certainly not, as you say, "the rule" 🤦🏻♂️ and finally - diffusers belong on the back of a racing car, not a 1.6 civic. So to sum up - you've riced it, and complain about people calling it a *rice rocket* 🙃

The worst thing on the civic ep's is the vague steering. The sticky steering wheel, doesnt center when coming out a turn.. Change the steering rack slider for a delrin slider, and regrease the steering rack. It will be a lot better afterwards... 😉
i totally agree with ya on the Rice cooker, but i would guess that its because of the angle of your spoiler, dont get me wrong i love the look of your car mate =)
The only part of your car that makes it rice is the diffuser you have mate! Im from ireland and i own one myself and mines is nowhere near rice, but we classify that diffuser/rear splitter a “rice” mod
You didn't mention the factory rattle when the windows are opened, the ridiculous screen washers (really Honda?? still??) the lack of intermittent wiper speeds and the 1960 style bonnet prop :)

Oh, btw, the fan type screen washers off a Citroen C4 will fit and give your screen a proper blast!
Following up on your comment. The Windows didn’t rattle from factory. When rebuilding & degreasing and re greasing the window mechanism it eliminates all rattling, even at high speeds, even over bumps, even at 80mph +. Also I swapped jazz washers onto mine & they were shit. No different to be honest & the original 4 jet streams grew on me.
Glad mine is coming with a Type R spoiler and a M2 Cat Back Exhaust.

Nice vid So true Just got a 2003 type s .The hand brake is slack and front disc's thin ,Need to get use to turning circle, Look for wishbone model not strut's as mine is a little better turn.
??? So it’s just mine that slips into neutral from 5th gear , And how the seat rocks back and forth because of the dodgy stock washers and how awkward it is to change any bulb on your driveway ?
The seat slide might be only on the left because of getting out into moving traffic as annoying as it is.

I assume that's a 5 door model? To be fair the motor is already pretty good as it's part of the K-series engines, so you're best bet is to start with intake mods for better induction :)

With a black box the insurance for an ep2 is only like £1100-£1600 a year

Doesnt call it a rice rocket but has tacky tow hook and strap, some wierd DIY diffuser and cringy stickers. Definetly not the worst ep2 ive seen but also not "clean" imo
