Your video is so quiet and peaceful, an add came on and scared me and my sleeping baby... woah🤣
I love the simplicity yet everything is so much more thoughtful and meaningful
I love this all so much!! I have been thinking about how to make birthday celebrations more meaningful for our kids!
Still rewatching this for the 10th time again haha 😂 for our little boys birthday tomorrow 🥰 thanks so much again for sharing this Chrissy❤
I love this! And I'm thankful to finally find a family who practices Christian values along with these fun traditions.
Love this doing this, more special, no guilt and family centered because a child birth is a celebration for the whole family.
stephanie turpen Yes, it is a whole family celebration! I love that ♥️
Thank you for sharing these beautiful traditions. ❤
I love so much your idea of knighting him and pixie dust for your girl to teach them about being light of Christ and protecting good things. 🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️
What beautiful traditions you've created for your family. Lovely seeing how our craft supplies have been used and have become a part of your family celebrations. My heart is warmed. Happy Birthday all!

A Child's Dream 🥰
There are no birthdays coming up in our home until January, but I am SO glad I chose to watch this now! I especially love the candle rolling craft as preparation for the birthday and the playsilks as gift wrapping. Thank you for sharing your celebrations, you have given me a lot of inspiration!
This is so inspiring! Thank you for this beautiful video. I hope to start some of these traditions with my kids.
This makes me so happy! And thanks for being here.
I absolutely loved this 🥰
My son turns 1 year next month and I am definitely using this video, as well as your other celebration of life video, as an inspirstion for many years to come!
Thank you for this. I’ve been looking for something to celebrate my babies bdays. We do not do the typical parties it has always been us and my family that come over to have cake and gifts. However now I am wanting to have less clutter and more of traditions. I love your ideas!!!! Thank you
I'm happy to hear this video sparked some inspirations for your family!
What a beautiful, love filled video :) I am mom of 2 and was looking for ideas to celebrate my youngest ones 1st birthday and involve my 4yr old with preperations. Inspired by you we will be rolling our candles and incorporating our toys in decor :)
Love this-Thank you for sharing! I just posted a video of my sons first birthday with a birthday ring and a birthday book-this has given me so many ideas for next year!
So soo beautiful 🥰
This was so helpful ! My boys 2nd Birthday is on Friday (27th) and we are just starting our Waldorf Traditions this year 💙💙 Wishing we had Play silks for wrapping , I’ve opted for tissue paper instead or regular wrapping ! I love the idea of the Count down with the birthday ring so we shall start tomorrow !
HappyJax Homeschool Happy Birthday to your boys! ♥️ I’m happy you found inspiration from the video 🤗
Hi! Thanks for sharing, may I ask, what you are using for the wooden cake?
What a beautiful birthday! can you share how to make these beautiful peg dolls (the knights and the cute dragon)?? thank you! my daughter`s first bday is next month and I am planning a waldorf inspired birthday full of fairies and flowers! :)
Fairies and flowers, so sweet and magical! I shared a peg doll video up a few months back. It was for a peg doll nativity set, but the same process and supplies i use for all peg dolls. I will link the video below- I’m sure it will be of some help for you ☺️

Do you make a new crown every year for each child? I see personalized crowns on Etsy that have the age of the child on them, and that just seems wasteful. Thanks for the great videos!
I do not. I've made one felted crown for each little. Noah has been using the crown in this video every year. My girls have asked for a variation, so we braid play silks for a crown or one year we used fresh flowers.
How does this vary for you for an older child?
Hi can I ask if you got the ukelele chords for the song?
My son is turning 3 this year and I’d really like to do the birthday ring and walk, how do you talk about this without just crying??? Every time I even think about it I get overwhelmed with emotion.
It is such a meaningful a beautiful tradition!
We adopted our children and not at birth. I so want to do this but can't tell a birth story as we don't even know all of their past. Any ideas on how we can still tell a birth story for our children that is meaningful and fun?
i know this is old but you can use the stlry of your journey to adopting them and the day you brought them home and they day you were able to adopt them.
What do you use if your kid doesnt have a favorite thing yet. Like you said your one child likes fairies.
stephanie turpen Correlate their birthday with the season of the year! For example, for an Autumn baby: pumpkins, leaves, Halloween, Farm theme. My toddler is named Luna and her first birthday celebration was moon and stars themed.
