Hey Jacob, I recently lived in Branson and my daughter went to the church you likely drove right next to to get to the cross called S.W.I.M. The pastor there was a good friend of mine (he passed a few years ago) and this cross was built by a friend of the church to help honor their father after the land (which was owned by SWIM) was sold to them at a HEAVY discount. Having had a child who attended the church, I was lucky enough to speak with the man who built the cross several times while he was building it and he told me the meaning of the water dropplets. The 8 vertical drops symbolize "new beginnings" while the five horizontal ones symbolize "grace". But that means one drop is shared between the two meanings, which is by design to symbolize a "graceful new beginning when we meet Christ." The fact that there were 8 people in noah's family and 12 apostles was purely coincidence and "proof of God's will to have the cross built." The doors on the bottom actually do lead through the cross and, while they were meant to be open, questions about structural integrity were raised due to the chaotic weather we can have here in the mid-west. So, the doors remain locked but the only thing in there now is a ladder leading up to some electrical stuff for the lights.
The man who built the Cross has since distanced himself with the nearby church after SWIM became rather synonymous with being "cult-ish" due to the massive size of the church and it's total regular congregation size being less than 40 people... Yes, that MASSIVE grouping of white buildings across the street is all for 40 people to attend church. (If you've been by there, you'll know what I'm talking about

The Ozark Howler is a fictional monster from Arkansas folklore that is said to live in the Ozarks. The creature is described as having a bear-like shape, a shaggy coat, and glowing red eyes. It can also weigh up to 595 pounds and stand 5 feet 9 inches tall. The Ozark Howler is also known as the Ozark black howler, the huhu, the Nightshade bear, and the devil cat. The Tallest CRUCIFIX in America is at the Indian River Shrine in Indian River, Michigan, located a half hour away from the Mackinaw Bridge!! The difference between a Cross n a Crucifix being the Crucifix has the Body Of Christ on it, whereas a Cross does NOT!!! It is well worth the trip to see this fantastic iconic n historic Shrine, n I would LOVE to see you do a trip up to Northern Michigan in the Summer season when all the MANY roadside attractions, museums n classic iconic places are all open!!!

Hey Jacob! Yes, I have been on the Branson Duck Boat tour and they do a great job! It's not the same company and they just started up within the last few years with new and very safe vehicles. Also, if you enjoy Amphicar tours they have a company that does that on The Landing as well. They pick you up down by the big fountain.

The ducks that are in the Branson now are completely new as the ones before were from World War II. They are also owned by a different company and are completely run different

The Winnebago from Stranger Things is identical to the one that my family had, and took on our annual trip to Florida every year when I was growing up. The rest of the time it served as my clubhouse. I've been on the Wisconsin Dells duck tour, and can highly recommend it. I don't know about the Branson one though. Also, the absolute coolest thing in the car museum was the coconut signed by the Professor.

If you are still in Branson, have you been to the Pirate and Treasure Hunting museum on Branson Landing. It was opened when visited a few years ago. Don't know now.
I did so more research and I got the name wrong, its called Shipwrecked Treasure Museum
Boston still runs duck tours and I'm sure many other places. You should come up to Boston and visit some museums and go on a duck tour

There is an internal ladder in the cross for maintenance workere only. It is not open to the public. Watch out for bears!

I think you may be mistaken Jakob... we have a cross on the mountain here in Colorado that is illuminated that you can see 30 miles away.. 393 ft tall and can see it from Thornton Colorado and the cross is in Morrison

Branson is such a fun place. It doesn’t seem right to have duck boats in Branson given the history. Maybe they stick to the rivers and streams and don’t go out in the lake. The NTSB had a number of suggestions at making them safer, and hopefully they follow those, although removing the roof on them was one suggestion it looks like wasn’t followed. Hopefully they are safe and can give people a fun time.
It's the 5th tallest cross in the USA smaller then the one in Colorado at 218 ft tall.. Branson may be home to the biggest stories in the USA..lol

If you do decide to ever watch the Fast n Furious movies, at least watch the first 2, the next few are ok, not as good,but after 7 when Paul Walker dies they should have quit, just my opinion. The last 2 movies not very good. Enjoyable video today as always!

I have recurring dreams n nightmares that come n go with no recognizable pattern over much of my lifetime, n I, amazingly enough, have one I have been having for over 30 years that is about a small, collapsible car that I snap together n take off down the road on highways n freeways n it is much smaller than all the other vehicles around me, n I break it out n hook it up to use to continue on to my destination when my regular car dies on the road!!! It is like travel bag size or dancer's bag size cuz I was a dancer for over 30 yrs.!! This so reminds me of that put together vehicle, n now I see someone invented it n put it in a movie,!! WOW did I miss the invention boat on that one!!! I cant believe I am seeing it here!!!!
